    Daily Courier 2015 Spring All-County Softball Team

    Matt Hinshaw/The Daily Courier, file Delaney Marshall, seen batting against Bradshaw Mountain at PHS back on April 22, hit almost .600 as one of a core group of Badger sophomores in 2015. Marshall, one of more than a handful of sensational sophomores for the Badgers in 2015, played a crucial role in guiding Prescott to a Division 2, Section 5 championship and an automatic berth into the D-2 state tournament in early May. She did it all at the plate, hitting a .594 average with a team-best 26 extra-base hits, including eight homers, three triples and 15 doubles, in 30 games for 25-5 Prescott.

    PNI's 2015 Spring All-County Track & Field Team

    Prescott's Simon Page wins the 800-meter run in 1:56.70 during the Division 2 AIA state track meet in Mesa back on May 9. Paige became only the second Badgers' track and field athlete since Ben Clark in 2003 to win three individual state titles, taking home the first-place medal in the 800 meters, 1600m and 3200m at the Division 2 meet May 6, 8 and 9 in Mesa. "It's a very rare thing to do, and I'm blessed to have the opportunity to be able to do it," Paige said after his victories.
