    Bobcats, Enterprise Hornets to do battle again Friday

    Not much needs to be said, as many folks on the Ridge know a ton about the Enterprise High Hornets, who will host the Paradise Bobcats for the second straight year in an Eastern Athletic League regular season game Friday night at Enterprise Community Stadium. Kickoff is set for approximately 7:30 p.m., and if rankings are any indication the top-ranked Hornets should be the overwhelming favorite.

    RED BLUFF >> Coming into Friday night, Paradise High's D.J. Norton said the last meaningful snap he took at quarterback was as a freshman. Norton, a running back and defensive back for the Bobcats, was asked to return under center in Red Bluff to fill in for the injured Max Valdez, and the senior two-way and now three-position star excelled in his varsity debut at QB.

    The Paradise High varsity girls tennis team cracked the double-digit game total for the first time in a few weeks Tuesday, stealing 11 individual singles wins off Red Bluff in a 9-0 Eastern Athletic League road loss to the Spartans. Senior Paris Eisenbeiss won five of the 11 in a straight-set, 3-6, 2-6 defeat to Megan Boone.
