    Moore, who recently finished his sophomore year with the Titans, announced his commitment to Ohio State on July 16. The Buckeyes beat out Michigan, Cincinnati, Kent State and Xavier for the services of the Titans' pitching ace and one of their best contact hitters. "It was a combination of things," Moore said.

    Join Lorain County Engineer, Ken Carney, and local officials for Engineer Carney's 25th Annual Horseshoe Tournament Aug. 8 at noon at South Central Park near the tennis courts in North Ridgeville.     Former Indians Travis Hafner and Brian Anderson head a group of seven athletes being inducted into the Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame. Others in the 2015 class include: former St. Ignatius, Ohio State and Browns lineman LeCharles Bentley ; tennis standout Frances Dickenson; Maple Heights wrestler and wrestling coach Jamie Milkovich; former St. Edward and NHL standout Mike Rupp; and swim champion Peter van Dijk.
