    Raiders scorch Pirates to stay in title hunt

    With only three games remaining, Richmond's boys varsity basketball team would need to win out to earn at least a share of the conference title. Anything less would not only make a title improbable, but would most likely leave them needing a conference tournament championship or a wild-card spot to get into the NCHSAA 4A playoffs.

    Raiders pin Scots in dual meet

    Richmond Senior's varsity wrestlers pinned all but three opponents to hammer Scotland with a 60-13 team score during Wednesday's dual meet. In the 113-pound class, the Raiders' Isaiah Davenport defeated Chase Lowery by pinfall.

    Lady Raiders cana t hang on, fall to Scotland 60-46

    Nineteen points from Khasiya Sellers and six assists each from ShanQaylia Stanton and Ashyln Dial helped the Scotland girls' basketball team defeat rival Richmond Senior on Tuesday night. Richmond fell for the third game in a row, as the Lady Raiders dropped games to Lumberton and Pinecrest last week.
