    No. 1 Allen whips Wildcats

    After last season's opening game against top-ranked Allen proved to be a coming-out party for Guyer quarterback Shawn Robinson, the 2015 edition proved to be the same for an experience-rich Allen defense and the Eagles' new man under center. Robinson was unable to get in a rhythm due to a ferocious Allen defensive front seven, and the Eagles got a big game from junior quarterback Mitchell Jonke to roll to a 48-16 win against Guyer and extend their winning streak to 44 games, the longest active streak in Texas.

    Mustangs & Panthers Ready to Kick off Season

    We are now less than 24 hours away from the start of high school football here in Laredo and things get kicked off with an all Gateway City match up. It will be United ISD against Laredo ISD as United South goes to Shirley Field facing off with Nixon.

    Nixon Crusies over Eagle Pass

    After a slow start in the first set, the Nixon volleyball team got it going and was able to sweep Eagle Pass 3-0 Tuesday. The first two sets would be tight all the way through with the Mustangs prevailing by two points in each.

    Strong Senior Class Leads Martin into 2015 Season

    Just two short years ago the Martin football team made history by not only making the playoffs but also picking up a win in the opening round. Now coming off a tough two win season the Tigers are hoping a strong group of seniors will help guide them back to the postseason.
