    Zach Wolken had a 2-yard touchdown run for the Crusaders, while Ryan Klahr scored a touchdown on a 30-yard run. Tyler Sandbothe also had a 2-yard run for a score.

    Blair Oaks softball routs Versailles 19-0

    The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons improved to 2-0 in Tri-County Conference play Monday with a 19-0 win in four innings against the Versailles Lady Tigers. Andi Siebeneck was the winning pitcher for Blair Oaks, striking out 10. She also went 2-for-2 with a single and a grand slam.

    Helias overcomes early deficit, beats Tolton 9-7

    Prep Volleyball: Blair Oaks wins West Plains Tournament

    The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons won their second tournament of the season Saturday, sweeping Mountain Home, Ark., in the championship match of the West Plains Tournament. The Lady Falcons opened play in the 10-team tournament with their first loss this season, falling 34-32, 26-24 to Mountain Home.

    Girls Tennis: Helias placed third at Liberty Tournament

    Helias opened with an 8-1 win against Holt. The Lady Crusaders swept all three doubles matches, as Catherine Conley and Jessica Cowley won 8-3, Martina Lorang and Ellen Gallaher won 8-2 and Sommer Kolb and Sage Bentlage won 8-6.

    Friday Football: Jays use quick start in win against...

    The Jefferson City Jays may be 3-1 and have won three straight games for the first time since starting the 2016 season 3-0, but coach Terry Walker made sure the team knows he expects more than just a favorable score in the end. "What I tell the kids all the time it's not about winning or losing, it's about playing the game the right way," Walker said following Friday night's 34-13 victory against St. Louis University High.

    Friday Football: Blair Oaks downs Versailles

    With :48.6 left in the first half of Friday's game against the Versailles Tigers, Blair Oaks was 63 yards away from the end zone. No better time to give the 2-minute drill a try, even if the Falcons were shorted 72 seconds.

    Friday Football: Better second half for Crusaders in...

    Trailing by 27 points at the half Friday night, rallying for a victory was a long shot at best for the Helias Crusaders. "I liked our fight in the second half," Helias coach Chris Hentges said after the Crusaders dropped a 61-35 decision to the Cardinal Ritter Lions.

    Blair Oaks takes fifth in Capital City Invitational

    It wasn't the result Blair Oaks softball wanted, but the Falcons captured fifth in the Capital City Invitational with a 10-4 win against Centralia at 63 Diamonds Saturday. The Lady Falcons also beat Lee's Summit 12-0 earlier in the day and ended the tournament with a 3-1 record, falling to Jefferson City in the semifinals.

    Lady Jays start 2-0 in Capital City Invitational

    The Jefferson City Lady Jays are in the semifinals of the Capital City Invitational with a pair of wins Friday at 63 Diamonds. Jefferson City picked up a 9-3 win against North Callaway in the first round, then knocked off defending tournament champion Blair Oaks 7-2 in the quarterfinals.

    Crusaders can't keep up with Cardinal Ritter in 61-3...

    The Lions scored in their first six possessions Friday night on their way to a 61-35 win against the Helias Crusaders. It looked like the game was going to be an offensive shootout as both teams scored in the opening minute.
