After eight straight victories helped the Patriots qualify for the postseason, they turned five turnovers into 19 points in a 26-0 victory over previously-unbeaten Broadneck on Friday in a Class 4A East Region semifinal. Old Mill, which needed every one of those eight victories after putting itself in an 0-2 hole, looked nothing like a desperate team on Friday after facing likely playoff elimination had it dropped a third game during the regular season.
