Michael Hall, the last of the Big 3 who helped the Warren boys basketball team earn a 2012-13 state tournament berth, will be competing at the next level. In a ceremony in Warriors Gym on Thursday afternoon, the 6-foot-6 Hall signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his education and play basketball at Concord University next season. Comment?

Over the next two weekends, the Ohio North-South all-star games will be staged in basketball and football. These events used to be a much bigger deal to the participants and the fans, but as columnist Bob Hunter pointed out in his column about dwindling attendance at the state tournaments, the landscape is simply different now with people having so many activities and options to choose from.
