    St. Pius boys' soccer begin journey towards three-peat

    With 17 wins in 17 regular season games, the St. Pius boys' soccer team has made history this season, becoming the program's first team to finish perfect before the playoffs. "It's pretty exciting," St. Pius senior center midfielder Louie Aponte said.

    Athlete of the Week: Joseph Stout, South Paulding

    The South Paulding boys' tennis team, which has made the state playoffs each of the past three season, has had a stellar campaign in 2015, finishing second in Region 5AAAAA winning a postseason match for the first time in program history with a 5-0 win over Southwest DeKalb on April 23. Senior Joseph Stout has provided strong play for the Spartans with nine victories, including a 3-1 mark in the playoffs. "Joseph shows excellent patience on the court during his matches," head coach Dennison Strickland said.
