Taurice Scott threw for 127 yards and rushed for 171 to lead top-ranked Mount Union to a 55-23 victory over St. Lawrence University in a first-round game of the NCAA Division III football playoffs Saturday. The Saints fell behind 41-0 in the first half, but managed to score more points than any other team had this season against Mount Union. Comment?

The St. Lawrence University Football team surrendered 27 points in the first quarter to Mount Union, ranked No. 1 in the country, but battled back and played the final three quarters to within five points falling by a 55-23 score Saturday in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament at Mount Union in Alliance, OH. GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Four straight trips to the NCAA Division III Volleyball Quarterfinals for the Clarkson University women's volleyball team is a feat that not many teams can match, but the Golden Knights' Class of 2016 and the rest of the squad was looking for more this year. Unfortunately, the Green and Gold suffered a three-set defeat at the hands of sixth-ranked Wittenberg University on Thursday afternoon, falling 25-11, 25-22, 25-21 at Calvin College's Van Noord Arena. After Saturday's college football game was over, St. Lawrence University quarterback Mike Lefflbine walked through the plaza outside of Leckonby Stadium and offered to let some fans touch the Liberty League championship trophy he was carrying. The Saints produced a 21-14 victory over Merchant Marine on a cold day in which SLU was far from its usual self. Comment?
