Lilly Parmer and the Lady Warriors enter the state tournament as a two seed after falling to Flint River, 44-38, in the Region 1-AA Tournament championship game last Friday.

    The Carrollton High School girls' lacrosse team used a dominating second-half display to pull away from Pace Academy in the area opener on Thursday night at Grisham Stadium. After clinging to a 6-5 lead at halftime, the Lady Trojans rolled to the 12-6 victory, improving to 2-0 on the season and 1-0 in Area 2 action.

WGTC opened quickly, building a 9-2 lead just three minutes into the game.
