    State survey shows Boulder and Broomfield counties r...

    Boulder and Broomfield counties combined reduced the number of uninsured to about 5 percent this year, down from about 12 percent in 2013, according to a new survey on health insurance coverage. The survey also found that the percentage who visited a health care professional in the past 12 months increased from 78 percent in 2013 to 86 percent in 2015.

    At the risk of appearing very cynical, I cannot believe the figures that city council stated in the Daily Camera regarding a survey that was conducted regarding "right sizing." In the many discussions that I've had with both bicyclists and those who drive, I would say the numbers are more against than in favor.

It should be noted that none of the 14 candidates interviewed in the Camera article stressed a high priority in getting the Highway 36 Berm Flood Mitigation Plan started and finished as soon as possible.

    An unknown person wrote about the sexual assault of sorority members on several chalk advertisements for the University of Colorado's Greek life programs on campus Monday. The original chalk writings read "Go Greek," advertising rush week for CU's sororities, which takes place later this week.

    Erie Police, court move to new facility

    The 17,000-square-foot facility broke ground near Telleen Avenue and East County Line Road early this year and will include 2,800 square feet of municipal court space, a lobby and 13,200 square feet for police, more than five times the size of the Town Hall basement where the department was previously housed. Broomfield gymnastics coach Erika Taga has slowly rebuilt the Eagles program over the past decade.
