The Dulaney volleyball team starts a senior-dominated lineup, and its stated goal all year has been to return to the state championship game after a one-year absence. The Lions looked sloppy at times, but got just enough offense from leaders Mallory Svoboda , Rebecca Rawlinson and Olivia Finckel to defeat Bowie of Prince George's County, 25-17, 25-15, 25-18 in Wednesday's Class 4A state semifinals at the University of Maryland's Ritchie Coliseum. After an absence of nearly a decade, Bowie High School returned to the postseason on Friday night against Prince George's County Class 4A League rival Henry A. Wise.
