    High School Football: Friday night roundup

    Kerry Raymond ran for 149 yards and a touchdown on nine carries, while quarterback Aaron Williams accounted for two scores as Brockton defeated Weymouth , 31-7, in a nonleague contest. In other nonleague action, Justin Winn rushed for three touchdowns as Saugus handed Triton its first loss, 36-22.

    Ground and pound plan leads Bucs

    That cloud of smoke hovering over Bedford Center today may be a residual from the synthetic turf of Sabouirin Field, where the Buccaneers rushed the football more than 60 times en route to a 35-21 win over Belmont on Friday night. Bedford spotted the visitors a 7-0 lead after one play, then proceeded to run 65 plays, including one incomplete pass, and amass 335 rushing yards and five touchdowns.
