    Nine Pace Knights Commit to College Athletics

    Philip Elliott , Mick Assaf , Jean-Luc Brown , Timothy Coleman , Brenner Appel , Grace Ferry , Jordan Harris , Spencer Hemmingway and Samuel Sloman . Brenner Appel , a National Honor Society member, has participated on the Pace varsity swim team for four years and has swum with the Dynamo Swim Club for eight.

    Over 60 area athletes expected to sign on Wednesday

    A big class of recruits for the Class of 2016 will sign with their respective college destinations on Wednesday's national signing day, the first day a high school senior can sign a binding national letter of intent with the NCAA. More than 50 football players, including 17 headed to Division I schools, will make their commitments official at ceremonies spread throughout the day.

    Atlanta International School girls' basketball player Nieja Crawford has been one of the most productive offensive players in Georgia this season. The senior guard has averaged 27.6 points through the Eagles' first 12 games which is third in the state and her 18.8 rebounds a contest are first in Georgia.
