    Thompson winner of the Class 6A title from 2011-14 and last year's inaugural 7A championship has been placed on restrictive probation for the remainder of the 2015-16 school year for rules violations in the wrestling program, and head wrestling coach Sean Weltzin and assistant coach Chris Pike have also been suspended. Restrictive probation means Thompson can only participate in regular-season dual matches during the upcoming season and makes the Warriors ineligible for postseason competition.
