    Russo replaces Iannucci as Holy Spirit football coach

    Holy Spirit High School made a quick change at the top of its varsity football program on Friday, announcing that A.J. Russo will replace John Iannucci, who resigned as head coach Friday. Iannucci resigned from the head coaching position after three years at the Absecon school due to what he called a number of minor health ailments, as well as "other factors" that came to light after the end of the season.

    Terrell Vassel has been on the verge of an FBS offer for what seems like forever, but as time passed, it appeared the junior might be destined for the FCS level of play. However, the DePaul receiver grew some last offseason, improved his long speed and route running, earning an offer from Rutgers head coach Kyle Flood, Sunday.
