let me take this opportunity to once again trash Target for its shabby treatment of the Salvation Army. You may not think this was a big deal, but this was a disgraceful episode and it says a lot about the corporate culture at target. so i hope they get what they deserve. I'm rooting for Walmart.

Please explain then the millions of dollars in gives to the salvation army annualy? What does it matter if people ring bells outside the store, they already give millions. I can guarantee they give more then you do!

At least Risk Metrics came out and is not supporting all 4 Ackman board members plus Ackman. Last I heard, they are only supporting two spots for Ackman, two spots for Target and no 13th board member.

I'm assuming Tybalt doesn't use Facebook. If so, Tybalt would know that the Salvation Army was in the top 3 charities selected by Facebook users to receive money from Target.

I'm also assuming that had Target continued to allow the Salvation Army to ring the bells at Christmas, Tybalt would have no objections to every other charitable organization from demanding equal opportunity to stand and solicit in front of the store.

Personally, I prefer to donate in privacy and have a clear accessway in to/out of a store.
