Suspected sex offender arrested after 8 years under assumed name

The Knox County Sheriff's Office is announcing the arrest of a suspected sex offender from Georgia who has been living in Knoxville under an assumed name for the past 8 years.

Take a good look at this picture kids.. This is a pure garden variety pedophile. this guy looks like a toothless loser all the way.. thank god they got him before he hurt another child, perhaps his own kids (assuming he has not done so already)

Don't be fooled. Pedophiles come in all sizes, shapes, ages, sexes, races, and classes. They don't all look like this guy or Bubba Scarbrough. They could just as easily look like Fred Rogers, George Bush, or Katie Couric. The idea that you can tell predators by looking at them is as dangerous as it is stupid.

Sadly, you are very correct.

But yet, would be very nice if one could tell a pedophile at a glance.
