The "War on Christmas" is a sniveling attempt by the Christian Right to claim victim status - and to dodge and deflect from the fact that Christians are the only ones attempting to legislate religion or religious views in America. It isn't Christmas that the rest of us object to - it's the insistence by Christians that it's the only 'real' holiday to celebrate at this time of year.

What I find truly ironic, is that Jesus' birthday has been pinpointed by historians as being in August - not December. But of course,'repudiating the date of the Birth of Christ' is claimed by the Christian Right as just 'one more weapon in the War on Christmas'.........

What on earth would you want with a Barney Frank Love Doll, dear? Wouldn't you rather have a Michele Bachmann pocketwat? I can promise it's seen a lot less use.......
