If it was the other way around (the shooter was black), he would have been charged with murder and gone to jail in a heartbeat

1. the shooter and his family are being tried in the court of public opinion, not a true blue court.
2. even the president is pushing the race issue and driving the courts to 'hang' the kid who did the shooting

You guys heard what he said on the phone when he was talking to the 911 operator. Racially motivated act if you ask me.

Unfortunately, the media has not accurately presented all the information it has had access to. An example of this is that a news producer has been fired because when relaying the 911 call he didn't include the operators question on the ethinicity of the person who "looked suspicious." He was asked is he white, black, hispanic, etc. and he responded with he's black. Also, Zimmerman is not a white-hispanic, just like Obama isn't a white-black man...he's hispanic. What's most disturbing to me is why was Zimmerman carrying a gun. Did he have a permit for it? Why did he think it necessary to carry a gun because it was not his responsiblity to follow anyone, he should have reported it and left. I do think having him arrested for a minimum of manslaughter, second degree murder is justified, but I don't believe he will get a "fair" trial. Regardless, of the outcome people will be angered.

There was definitely a racial motive behind his killing but I also think second degree murder was the proper sentencing.

lots of excuses and lies.... Arrest first overnight in all cases of deaths.

Video shown on CNN recently showed man looking different dated the night of the shooting. In that video stated as being FROM the POLICE with a white font dated this YEAR!!! Looked exactly like the orange jump suit video!!!!!
Messed up - liers!!!!! we are all toast!!

its injustice whether racial or not. Ask yourself if the victim were your son or daughter what would you want done in the name of justice?

Of course the perpetrator after the fact has regrets. but think about this, If he was in fear for his life why was he following trayvon? If the operator told him not to follow at what point did he stop following and the victim begin to follow him? We cannot allow vigilantes to continue in this fashion. We pay the police to do that job. they are trained professionals. Please let them do their jobs.
