I dont think or believe this was justified. This kid was only 17 years old, wearing a hoodie, who went to the store and bought himself something. It does not mean he was a criminal! Are you saying that every 17 year old wearing a hoddie is a suspect? Are we gunna pull an armed weapond and start killing teenagers just because of what kind of clothes they wear? This was a hate crime, and something has to be done. And if indeed it was self defense, who has the right to murder? NO ONE!

Zimmerman wanted to make a name for himself.I bet he was a watch dog for some gang that sells drugs in that community. He sees tis kid and thinks he is moving in on his territory. He whaks him, uses the self defense line. I think it was premediated murder. I don`t think race had as much to do with it as the fact Zimmerman saw him as an intuder on his gang`s territory. He had tis neighborhood watch operation as a cover. His father being a retired judge he got him out of trouble before.
