I'm truly afraid an innocent child was murdered. I have a 14 year old granddaughter and it breaks my heart to think of such a young person shot down like this.

Mom should have had him at home and not running the streets. Still, I want to know the true facts before I make a judgement. What is going on is reverse racism. They want to hang the guy, police chief and many others even before an investigation is complete. Won't they look stupid if a clean investigation shows a good shooting.

You should find out the facts before you decide on your opinion.

On numerous interviews I've seen with his parents, his dad says Trayvon went to the local 7-11 during half-time of the NBA All-Star game. When he was chased by Zimmerman he was inside the gated community where his father lives. That's not running the streets.

It's recorded on the 911 call Zimmerman made that he(Zimmerman) was pursuing Trayvon. He was told he didn't need to do that.

Now that there are more agencies involved besides the local police, hopefully they will find out what happened between Zimmerman being told not to pursue Trayvon and when he was killed.

My opinion without those facts is that you can't pursue someone and then invoke the Stand Your Ground law in order to kill them.

It appears a troubled teen was killed and much more informtion will be coming out in the next few weeks. The real tragic thing however is the way politicians have chosen to exploit his death. Refering to the hispanic who shot him as white just shows how desterate the are to play the race card. When will the african american community have a leader who will not play the race card, but instead look for real solutions to the killing of our children - of all colors. In Chicago the killing of an african american youth is a weekly happening, so where is the outrage? Oh, they cannot shout racism on tv, because it is usually black on black crime, so they say little. Perhaps one day on the news and then it is over. This is going to lead to riots in the streets and we need political leaders who calm the tide, but now we see african american leaders (and our President) throwing gas on the fire.

Here's a little gansta, suspended from school for selling dope and carrying stolen property. He was casing a house for a burglary, and then decided to beat down the neighborhood watch guy who caught him. At least he won't be having 15 baby momma's sucking up welfare.

Lets be real people ......He was a hoodrat.......he wasnt an honors student struck down in his prime by one of his fellow honors student friends.....he was looking for trouble and found EXACTLY what he was seeking - not saying he was a offical "gangbanger" but it seems he had his hopes and goals set for that life !!!!!!

10-40 shooting deaths in Chicago every weekend, 90% black on black, many 2-15 year old children....not a Sharpton, Jackson, Lee or Obama in sight...geez
Chicago does NOT have a gun/violence problem, it has a BLACK gun/violence problem

You know he didn't go to high school.

By the way, not the best question to ask to a bunch of redneck hillbillies.
