Legal or illegal, we benfit from every new person who comes here.
And they will come anyway. if we do not educate them they will fall into the drug cultures, the gangs and the bottom of society. How many school age children do you want on the street uneducated and only learning from TV. to shoot guns, take drugs, have sex, cheat others.
That entry level not in school person will get a construction job that your kids would have loved, 30 bucks an hour. 60 or more hours a week. and they cant read, but they were there when needed.
You get to drive on his highway work, or walk on his floor that he could not test properly because he did not know how to figure the proper amount of sand to cement for the mortor.
That great burger joint you love, the cook in the back is illegal and 16, cant read never educated on sanatation, drops 20% of the food he cooks on the floor and just picks it back up and serves it.
Nah, don't educate the illegals, they will be working for years before your kids can get a job. and probably be their boss when they do. and still not be able to read.
so lets educate the illegal immigrants so they can properly take away jobs from american citizens. we should educate them to replace your job for half the money with no bennies.

All anyone needs for a job is a green card. Available at almost any immigration office. and on a street corner near you.

Papers Please.

they dont even need that, but as long as your job hasnt been affected by illegal immigration you are all for it. try to spew your liberal ideas to the unemployed construction workers that have been displaced by illegal immigrants taking their jobs for less than half the pay.

Low cost labor with few benefits is not a liberal idea, it's a conservative idea. It's also a predatory idea.

The only way to get around market forces in the labor market is to hire illegally and push wages down artificially, this is why working wages stay stagnant or just marginally increase.

Tell me JW, which party favors NO minimum wage for workers?

there is no minimum wage for illegal immigrants. so the sanctuary cities in minnesota are in st paul and mpls are run by super liberals politicians. democrats dont want a fence, obama is blocking the states trying to take care of a illegal immigrant problem.

No kidding? I thought that was a given considering I made the point illegals are hired to bring down the wage of legal workers(supply and demand).

Hint: Illegal workers: below board, off the radar, dubious.

Ron Paul(TX), among other conservatives is against a fence on the border. Rick Perry(TX) believes in educating children of illegals.....and he is also a conservative and is also in a state that borders mexico. These are your parties candidates for president.

How do you reconcile your rhetoric with reality?

there are a few options:

Let them settle it at the border.

Build two fences, one on each side of the border.

Move troops into Mexico as we have twice before, and eliminate the bandit / drug dealers, and come back to the US.

Annex Mexico and make them into states.

Keep going south to Panama and make it the new southern border.

Of course none of these things will be done but it is nice to think of no more drug trade.

Legalize everything, If the government supplies it the government can CONTROL THE PRICES.

Taking the dealer out of the picture.

There is a lot of crap posted on this thread and while I did not read every single word, I did not see anyone actually address the question asked in the topic of this thread. The answer is that the U.S. Supreme Court has already answered this question in the affirmative.

so you get 2 republicans that border mexico and rely on the hispanic vote to get elected that are soft on immigration. most liberals are for open borders, they spew that a human cannot be illegal.

Solves nothing.

Just makes it harder on employers and when they check you out you dont get the job either. That sppeding ticket you got last month, Oh we cant hire you.

You didn't pay your child support, they will arest you so we need stedy employees, we will pass on you.

Over regulation hurts everyone, not just the one you wanted to hurt.

I have a feeling you know nothing about E-verify. it does not check if you got a speeding ticket, etc... It is run by homeland security and verify your eligibilty for employment. It is too easy and free to use for employers, so it solves everything.

I have watched people give away their freedoms for 66 years. there is no step forward that does not bite you in the AS* soon after its is created.

E verify gives you in site into every aspect of a person life, Just because you can only see certain things, others can see it all. Think your resume is safe, nope. did you pad it? How about a criminal background check, ever had one. E verify will tell you and then actually do one, even if you did not ask.

Its just another way to classify, organize and classify each of us. So much information has been put on the Internet that they can tell every job you have held, every credit card you ever had and when you made the payments. What banks you use, where you have moneys hidden or safety deposit boxes.

Since the Homeland Security act, you can not fart without it being recorded, and if its recorded its accessible.

They even want to set up one for the bus companies and the trains, so that you can not travel. You can not leave the US without a Passport, and you can not get back in with out one.

Oh, we can fix that problem, lets make a new data base. E verify is simple, the ones they provide under high paid plans contain just about everything.

Even the FBI has Internet accounts.

Still want to just use E verify?

I'm quite sure I heard a IBM supercomputer kick in while relaxing on the pot. What I've eaten during the last couple of days should be showing up on search engines soon!

Unless you sneak accross the border
And you think this is a bad idea?
How many more 911's would it take for you to see the light?
If you aren't in trouble, the process is quite bearable, but on the other hand, if you are a convict/child molester/terrorist/rapist, it will be a major inconvenience.

What are you afraid of?
