No, I don't even see how this is up for debate. Just go through the legal immigration process. If a citizen gets a simple traffic ticket, that person gets a warrant and can be jailed if he or she doesn't pay. Illegals can come into our country -- breaking the law simply by being here -- and get rewarded with schooling. Hell, parents are getting charged with crimes for enrolling their kids in different districts. Illegal immigrants can go screw themselves(please don't stop picking my cheap fruits and veggies).

The problem is we don't see the ramifications here. We don't have a lot of Hispanics in our area. But for the areas that do, they have experienced destroyed neighborhoods and cities.

In a list of priorities, Americans rate illegal immigration as 20th on the list of problems. Of course, I'm sure that priority is much higher with bordering states. But up north? No problems as of yet.

I don't want to be asked what language I wish to speak in when I go to the ATM or calling my utility company. I don't like bilingual signs. If you can't learn the language of our country, then go back to the country where you belong. Nobody ever catered to the language of my ancestors when they came here.

I understand. I don't have to select between Polish, German, Russian or some African language, but I have to deal with Spanish? I know Spanish and won't accept this shjt.

I know we need illegals. I would be paying $10 for a tomato if we didn't have them picking our goods. The thing is we don't need TOO MANY illegals. Dealing with illegal immigration is about containing the problem and not letting it grow.

No, if it ever got to the point food producers had to charge ten bucks for a tomato, they would invent or purchase machinery that does the work for them. Illegals are cheaper than purchasing and maintaining machinery, so they have immigrants work for just about nothing.

Right now, DumBama gave up his hope for gaining the working white people vote. He is now concentrating his efforts on minorities. Whenever any of these politicians cater to one group of people, it usually means the rest of us get screwed. That's what happens when you have a preponderance of any group of people. I'll give up tomatoes.

White people put Obama in office. He should have never tried to cater to the working whites who always vote against their own interests. I don't see why democrats ever try to win that demographic.

Obama isn't catering to the black vote -- we vote democratic all the time. He just needs to win with non-white Hispanics, the same people working class whites don't like. Just politics.

Working class whites are the ones who allowed the elite whites to pimp them. The elite whites don't want to do away with illegal immigration. Working class whites haven't figured that out yet.

Obama has had many disputes with the black communities led by black Congress people. Their claim is he hasn't done enough for them.

Beyond that, there is another gauge in voter turnout that many don't consider, and that is the enthusiasm factor. Sure the blacks will vote for DumBama or other Democrats if they feel compelled to do so. Last election, the entire thing was about hope and change, and the possibility of the first so-called black president even though he is technically a Mulatto. That energy won't be there this time. His approval ratings among white voters of all categories has been on a near constant decline over the last year or so. He gave up on them.

His campaign is now working on minorities of all types.

He isn't working on black people. The rat bastard told us to put our marching shoes on. He dropped the rather racist crack/cocaine sentencing from 50:1 to 18:1, when every legal expert that knows of the racist laws says it should be 1:1. Screw Obama.

The white voters that voted for him will still choose him over the current crop of batshjt republicans. He is safe. He helps them think they are not racist by supporting him. Plus he isn't as crazy as his opponents. I think if there was primary and he faced another white democrat, he would lose. But currently, white voters that voted for him last time are between a rock and hard place.

So your biggest problem with DumBama is related to the crack/cocaine sentencing?
Please don't vote in 2012. or 2013. or 2014. etc.

Formermaple. My response was to xxx's laughable assertion that Obama is trying to do something for minorities. How is signing racist legislation -- 18:1 sentencing disparity -- helping minorities? Obama should be wearing a klansman uniform as far as I'm concerned. Never said the racist sentencing disparity issue was my biggest problem with him. It's called reading comprehension.

There are just as many problems with Obama as there were with Bush.

"He dropped the rather racist crack/cocaine sentencing from 50:1 to 18:1, when every legal expert that knows of the racist laws says it should be 1:1. Screw Obama."
I comprehend that in the first sentence you condemn an action of him. Then you immediately say "screw him".
If you don't think I understand reading comprehension, I will gladly put aside my Mensa membership card and explain my thoughts to you.
I enjoy the banter that you and xxxrated share.
You have my apologies for attacking you and not the issues. You are perfectly correct in your statement "There are just as many problems with Obama as there were with Bush." We (the citizens of the USA) have been under attack by our political leaders for quite some time.
It is interesting that you made a statement about Bush, when I was not attacking BHO or supporting GWB. You assumed that I was a Bush supporter.
This is exactly what they want. To divide and concuer us.
We MUST stop thinking in absolutes. If I am against the current president, it does not mean I was for the previous president.
I look forward to further submissions to the Maple Heights forum. I travel a lot, so my postings may be sporadic I travel the world by the way. I have much to offer, but I will not stand to be demeaned with comments like "It's called reading comprehension."

But you implied that the racist legislation was my biggest problem with him. You then went on to say I shouldn't vote.

I made the assumption -- and was wrong -- that you supported Bush. I based this on the name you called Obama.

I agree that we shouldn't think in absolutes, which is why I do not like party politics. I hate both Bush and Obama equally. Many of my posts here will call out both parties. I am glad you understand that both parties are doing us harm.

It seems like we had a misunderstanding. Shjt happens. We need more voices in the forum and I hope you contribute when you have time.

It's not hard. I'm a LEGAL immigrant, met my wife while studying here in college and spent a good amount going through the immigration process. I now run a business and not only pay my taxes but have given several Americans jobs.

People who do it illegally need to have repercussions - otherwise they won't stop.

I don't think many have problems with people who do it your way. The real problem are these Mexicans who come here and expect us to change for them. Now our businesses are catering to them so we have to push 1 to speak in English. That's utter BS.

If I decided to leave the US and move to a country to become a citizen there, I would be studying the language of my new country like a campus college student. Hell, I had a friend of German descent who wanted to take his vacation in Germany. He studied German like crazy for just a two week stay.

There's a right way and a wrong way to do everything.

Soon the United States will have more Mexicans living here than white people. So, the whites will have to learn how to speak Mexican because the majority rules. There won't be any whites left here, it'll be all Hispanic, black and Muslim. I'll be six feet inside the dirt before then so to me it won't matter.

Me too, but that doesn't mean we should leave our great grandchildren with such a mess. I mean, look at the way other countries operate. Is there a Spanish speaking country that isn't run by corrupt politicians?

My prediction is that there will be a great clash between the Hispanics and blacks. Who knows, perhaps another civil war.

A great clash between blacks and Hispanics? The white-run country is not going to allow that to happen. Th country will continue to use Hispanics for cheap labor. The country will also continue to grow its prison industrial complex to deal with any rise in Latino population.

What "common" whites fail to realize is how resourceful the elite whites are. Everything that is happening is what they want to happen. If elite whites didn't want Latinos in the country, they would be as scarce as Native Americans.

You can't stop two groups of people who hate each other from clashing. These filthy Democrats know where their bread is buttered. All along, they gave all these handouts to black people to capture the vote. Now the new people to pander to are the Hispanics. That sort of puts blacks in the back seat when it comes to political favors and decisions.

It's like the school voucher program. The program was a great success during it's trial--particularly for black youths. When Republicans wanted to expand that program, Democrats knew they had to protect their union teachers. They not only tried to legislate it out of sight, but even sued claiming the program violated Church and State because many of these families were choosing religious based schools.

So what these Democrats did was place priority of unions over blacks. Sure, they want blacks to have it better, but not at the expense of their union friends because their union friends have more money to contribute to the DNC. They threw blacks underneath the bus because Democrats know no matter what they do against the blacks, they will always have their vote. So don't think they wouldn't do the same with the Hispanics. Look how DumBama just about gave them amnesty against the will of the people.

Handouts? The democrats helped usher in the prison industry. They helped with the "war on poverty" which basically doomed black America. They made their living off the Republicans being so blatantly racist.

But why not? Look at the Republican base. The base is a bunch of racists. That's why the elites play the Republican base off racial and social fears. Both parties are good for nothing.

But there aren't any handouts. White-run America never has and never will operate like that. There are more blacks locked up now than during slavery. That's planned. Slavery to Jim Crow to now.

So black people break the law, end up in jail, and that's the white mans fault? Do tell, how did the white man pressure the black man into doing illegal things?

There aren't any handouts? Did you quickly forget the housing collapse? What was that about? It was about putting more minorities into their own homes. That's what started the problem. Was bussing a Republican idea? Of course not. Bussing was created by liberals who wanted to show black people they were interested in their education even though they knew it would do no good. It was all vote buying. Who expanded the welfare state that kept black in the ghetto with nowhere to go? Republicans?

The Democrats have done more harm to the black community than you can shake a stick at, and this next election, 85% or more blacks will continue to vote Democrat because results are not what's important--intentions are.
