Should America provide K-12 schooling for young illegal immigrants?

Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
Red and yellow, black and white
They are precious in his sight
All the little children of the world
And that is why we should educate everyone that is in our country.

Education? Who said anything about Education? If American kids were getting real educations, their scholastic achievement scores wouldn't be ranked among third world nations.
'Schooling' in most American schools has become synonymous with day care. If illegal immigrants are interested in education for their kids, the've come to the wrong place.

No. I am sick of paying for those illegals. Ship them back to their own country. Keep them out at all costs. Why should we pay for them? Why? We have enough Americans who need more education. An example is the Arizona School System. Every other month they are off for some break. They need to study more and play less as studies show.

I have thought about this and maybe the illegals who have no chance of an education in their country would appreciate the availability of an education and make something of themselves but not in the Arizona Schools. Think about how little time the Arizona student spends in school when you count the holidays and breaks: Memorial Day; Columbus Day and Fall Break; Veteran's Day; Thanksgiving Break; Winter Break; Martin Luther's Day; President's Day; Spring Break; Easter Break; and Summer Break. When do these kids go to school? Plus, Arizona has a high drop out rate and many of these kids are home schooled by nut parents. Arizona needs to get the message out to the kids and their families that education is the most important endeavor that they will undertake through the years. Especially among the poor whose parents may not understand the importance of an education. Education may not guarantee you a million dollars but it will give a kid more of a chance in life.

"Education may not guarantee you a million dollars but it will give a kid more of a chance in life."
Depends...a Phd in my family just got laid off.
There is general education and there is financial
education. Today's general education only guarantee
debt from student loans.
Depending on what you mean by "more of a chance in
life." Most of the successful "kids" today never
finished college. The real financial education is
not in the traditional eduction system.
We are not offering much of an education to any one
in our eucation system, but a "chance in live" is still much better here than most other countries, I think.

I went to school in Mexico for a while. They put me back two years so that I could catch up. When I got back to the states, I was 15. They told me I could graduate high school if I would only take a civics course and an English class. I chose to enter my junior year so that I could experience high school. Just wanted to say, I was learning advanced chemistry and physics when I was in Mexico (14 years old). There's nothing wrong with the education system in Mexico.
