Remember Romney claimed to have created over 100,000 jobs. But what he neglected top tell you was that the jobs he offshored went to China--just google Free port Illinois for the SenSAt corp. that is being offshored to China and itss employees are having to train the very same Chinese that are taking their jobs. Wonder just how many jobs Romney /Bain has sent to China? Now thats what I call creating offshore jobs.I bet the Chinese are thanking them for each and every factory and job shipped their way. And folks the plant is being dismantled at this very time to also be sent to China.

Pappy, as you know, the Ryan budget bill passed the house but Harry Reid would not let it come up in the senate so it did not become law. The obama administration has not made a budget, as required by law, in obama's entire time as president. On the other hand, obamacare is already law. It takes $716 Billion from medicare - just like that - it reaches in and raids the medicare fund of money that was put there with deductions from every workers paycheck. Medicare is also reducing what they pay to doctors for their services causing many doctors to no longer see medicare patients. That is already happening. In order for medicare to operate with $716 Billion less in funds, medicare is ordered to cut benefits starting at age 50 and with deep cuts at age 70. obamacare is already law and this is already happening.

The houe sn the bill in later after it passed the house and will be taken up on return of the SENATE. And it has just what I pointed out.As the Republicas did to the democrats in holding up and stopping votes on demcocrats bills Sunrise, so can the democrats do the same --filibustering or not briinging the bill to the floor. Tit for TAT it is called. Ant it takes 60 votes to kill a filabuster.

Did you notice the lies Ryan told during his speech at the conviction--a lot of the papers picked his speeech apart on the lies. Still telling that one aboout the GM plant that closed on the Bush watch. And I also noticed they harly mentioned anything about the GOP platform on nary a thing, especially put abortion amendment attaching it to the 14th amendment and delcaring a zygote a person. not even puting a word in the amendment to save a life of the pregnant womannor incest or rape. Its also known as a person hood bill.

I addressed this on another thread. Ryan did not lie in what he said. I'll look the other post up and give you the link. Don't have time to retype. It is true that the plant closed during the Bush administration but Ryan did not say that it closed after obama took over. He was talking about the promises that obama made to the people who worked there but obama never fulfilled those promises.

It will be interesting to see how the biased media handles the democratic convention. Will the pick apart, distort and criticize every word of every speaker?

I have not heard. I don't live in McCurtain County. I'm concerned that a local judge is handling the case. I have been told that the judge's wife and BP mother are close friends. I hope the fact that BP has been free on bond and has had other freedoms is not a sign of things to come.

I was watching the convention tilll it finally came to an end. Boy were some of thsoe folks spinning yarns. Even thsoe that were know to be false. Like the one about the closing of the Jamesville GM plant that closed and the last SUV rolled off the line on DEC 23 2008 during the last Bush year in office--and they blame Obama,. And as to the Simpson -Bowles committee,Ryan left the part he played in his role, and voted against the plan. Howabout the Eastwood part of the convention, , he prempted Mrs Romney for the prime time slot before Romney himself came on stage. But what I was waiting for was to learn them talk about their GOP platform plan for our country---did not hear about the abortion amendment to be added to the 14th amendment to protect the woman against having an abortion and declaring the zygote a person, thus the woman could not have n abortion even tp save her life,or in case of a rape, nor incest.

Sunshine, Romney/Bain operates similar ro speculators--buy into a company or commodity , take the earnings out and jump out of the commodity just bought. As in the commodity markets on the Chicage commodty market or the commodity market in the NYMEX they jump into a commidy market make their selection, buy, sell and take their eanings . the same is done in teh food commodities, the gasoline, hating oil, deseal, and wahtever else there is a market to trade in. But the traders have been given a bigger leverage to use for their buy ins and outs--the cheapest interst rates they have ever had. So the commodity brokers can use low cost money and make cheaper bet at higher leveraged bets. That means a higher cost in price of all commodities including food, gasoline, home heating fuel, diseal fuel, food, grains, pork bellies, and every other commodity bet on by the several exchanges in the U.S. and elsewhere. The reason is the ENRON LOOP HOLEthat came into being in Dec.9,2000, and acccording to what I can find created and written by ENRON LOBBYIST, WITH THE HELP OF SENATOR PHIL GRAMM OF TEXAS. THIS ALLOWED DEREGULATION OF FINANCIAL PRODUCTS KNOWN AS DERIVATIVES AND LETS COMMODITY TRADERS ABUSE THE COMMODITY MARKETS AND MAKE EXTEAORDINARY HIGH PROFITS ON THE COMMODITY MARKETS. tHESE ECESSIVE PROFITS ARE ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS THAT OUR ECONOMY WILL BE VERY LOW IN RECOVERY AND JOBS CREATION. jUST AS OFFSHORING OUR JOBS AND CORPORATIONS OVER SEAS SLOWS DOWN OUR ECONOMIC RECOVERY/ wE HAVE LOST SEVERAL MILLION JOBS TO OFFSHORING. i GOT THIS INFO FROM THE HOUSE CONGRESSIONAL LIBRARY.bY THE WAY, California is going to capitalize on the corn market as it had no drought to effect its corn crops.

Sunshine, To get into the commodi,es market ,you first have to buy an ENRON MAGIC MARKER SIMILAR TO WHAT THOSE ENRON FOLKS ENRONED CALIFORNIA WITH. THEY ARE DOING THE SAME THING TO THE PEOPLES FOOD AND OTHER COMMODITIES BECAUSE OF THE LENIENCY IN THE COMMODITY FUTURES MODERNIZATION ACT OF 2000.We have Clinton and his administration, the republican controlled house and senate of that time and especially Phil GTamm, senator of TEXAS I want to thank them all for screwing the people of our country. I got that info years ago SunShine. If you are rich enough you can buy the whole dam goverment. And to my thinking some of it has been bought, on both sides if the aisle. The above is the reason of high priced foood and gasoline and the slowing economy,

Instead of so much complaining, alleging, outright misconstruing, how about some constructive criticism? How about some solutions? You seem to know exactly who to blame in these situations, you must be an amazing individual to have such insider information and know exactly what has happened and why.

I don't have answers, what I have is the desire to maintain our freedoms that were fought for by our founding fathers. Our freedoms and rights are slowly being taken away, and there are so many like yourself who feel it is okay. I do not want the government telling me what to do. It should be the other way around, we pay their salaries, yet we are being told what to do as if we are the employees.

Love 'em or hate 'em, I will stick with the party that is going to try and maintain as much of our freedoms as humanly possible. I don't want to live in a socialist country, I don't want to be told I have to buy into anything, I do not want this government telling me how to live my life.

We, as Americans, need to stand up to this government, and start taking responsibility for the situation we find ourselves. It is our fault for not voting, not getting involved, not standing up for our rights. It is real easy to sit back and complain, to blame, and holler for "fixes". We need to be involved.

Yes, I am happy that Romney has chosen Paul, we need to start somewhere. Someone who is proposing a bad budget is at least getting involved. And our "President" should not be endorsing what God has condemned. Nor should our "President" be apologizing to the world for America.

We need to change course in this country, before it is to late.

Yes, the commodities market does affect the price of the things traded on the commodities marker. I never realized that Enron was traded on the commodities market. I had always thought that company traded in the stock market. That shows how much i know. As for Phil Gramm, I never cared for him. We only have our vote to use against such people.

Have you folks heard of the lawsuit against Bain and other Equity fuirms on colullusion? Seems there are allegations there were deals made with other equity firms to keeo other equity firms from bidding on companies to keep the bidding don low. Wonder how this turn out for Bain? Wonder what the future holds for those share holders who filed the suit against Bane for price fixing.

If they are found guilty, they should be punished. I'm suspicious at the timing of such a lawsuit.

This is what I found on this subject:
"Bain, founded by the Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, is a defendant in the lawsuit, which also names Goldman Sachs’s private equity arm and the Blackstone Group, the firm run by the investor Stephen A. Schwarzman." (Note this says that the company was founded by Mitt Romney. It does not say he is part of the law suit.)

"Mr. Romney is not mentioned in the publicly released portion of the documents, and lawyers for Bain said in opposing The Times’s motion to unseal the entire filing that he “could not have been involved in the deals at issue here” because he had already left Bain by the time the first deal was finalized."

"Lawyers for Bain and the other equity firms said in their court filing opposing The Times’s motion that the documents include confidential company information that would inevitably become “washed into the spin of the campaign news cycle” because of Mr. Romney’s presidential run."
