I am weel aware that california is a liberal state and Obama country. However I am very happy with Romney and Ryan. I am votiong fpor them. This is what has happened during Obama`s watch. Oh , yeah, I already have heard it is Bush`s fault and these are just dug up negative details to make Obama look bad. Regardless it is facts.

Obama--The Numbers Don't Lie

·

Listening to President Obama speak to the Congressional Black Caucus about his past 32 months in office, two bizarre facts become apparent. First, Obama seems to believe that his policies and efforts have been successful. Second, Obama thinks we need to continue down the same path, that he "stood up for a different vision and did what was right. The future rewards those who press on."

Sadly, it would seem that our President is not merely wrong, but delusional. Let’s take a look at what Obama’s policies have actually produced.

Largest wealth destruction in American history: Net Wealth Lost 2009-2011 --$8.7 Trillion

Highest sustained Unemployment in decades: 9.1%

Brutal Unemployment for minorities: Black Americans : 16.7%

Unprecedented Unemployment: Black Teenage Americans :46.5%

Historic loss in American credit: U.S. Credit Rating drops to: AA-plus

Historic jump in Number of people in U.S. on Foodstamps : 45.8 Trillion

Quixotic investment in mythic Green Jobs :$80 billion

· Supposed Number of Green Jobs Created : 255,000

· Approximate Cost of each Green Job:$313,725.50

Stimulus Program: TARP :$475 Billion

Stimulus Program: Shovel Ready projects :$787 Billion

Stimulus Programs: Cash for Clunkers :$3 billion

Stimulus Programs: Cash for Caulkers :$10 Billion

Changes in Unemployment after $1.5 Trillion of government stimulus:+3% change

Averaged cost of a gallon of gas :$3.45 +$1.25 change

New Regulations 2009-2011 : 75 Major New Regulations, 1,827 Rules Amended

Executive Orders signed by Obama : 96

Cost of New Regulations :+$1.75 Trillion annually

Public Debt :$18.8 Trillion

2012 Federal Budget Proposed by Obama :$3.73 Trillion

Percentage of Americans that pay no taxes : 51%

Percentage of Federal Spending required from borrowing : 40%

Percentage of Government Spending on Entitlements : 60%

Number of Obama proposals to limit entitlement spending: ZERO

By any measure, President Obama’s economic policies and leadership have produced an unambiguous tale of woe. Not once has a single Obama policy produced the anticipated or promised benefits. Moreover, these many policies have made existing problems much worse.

During Obama's presidency, Americans have lost a collective $8 trillion in national wealth. Even now, his policies continue to crush business development, rob the prudent of their savings, and continue the awful trend of blaming others for his own inexperience and his policy mistakes. Perhaps the saddest fact of all is that President Obama believes that these failures represent success

Looks like roudy from Yuba City isn't too smart. I could point that Obama wasn’t in office when the recession started or that ryan voted for TARP, stimulus, the auto bail outs blah blah blah but I won’t.

The most important thing that has been revealed about ryan is that he is a proven liar. He claimed he was against TARP, stimulus, the auto bail outs blah blah blah but has now had to admit that he lied because he can’t change his congressional voting records and can’t take back his signed letters begging for stimulus moneys from Obama.

Maybe he has " evolved" on his views regarding the above. If Obama can suddenly do that at election time, why can't Ryan? As far as Obama not being in office when the recession started, that's true. However, a Democratically controlled congress was. Take a look at the spending their first three years running everything. You guys have nothing to run on, other than " anything but the economy". Divert attention with the lastest " The war on _______". Pathetic, embarrassing, and it's the best you guys can do. Perhaps Laughing at the Mirror would be a more appropriate name for you.

Sorry but "maybe he forgot" doesn't cut it. Begging for stimulus money in writing and a voting record supporting everything Obama has dome to try to fix what you repubicans screwed up is something only a moron would forget, or that an outright liar would use as an excuse.

Brought us back from a recession that was headed straight for a depression. Got us one step closer to single payer health care like everyone else (first world countries) in the world has. Has opened up more federal land to energy exploration the both bushes combined. Has led/directed our military to kill more terrorists than bush.

Want a complaint about Obama, he allows Harry Reid to back peddle from Mitch McConnells obstructionism and filibustering.

Now, go watch some more of the talking heads on faux, unfair and biased.

in April 2008, when he assured voters,“We’re not going to run around doing negative ads. We’re going to keep it positive, we’re going to talk about the issues.” By July 2008, Obama was saying that the $4 trillion increase in national debt during the eight years of George W. Bush’s presidency was “unpatriotic.”

And by September 2008, his campaign was running ads ridiculing his opponent, Sen. John McCain, because he couldn’t send an email. Never mind that McCain’s inability had nothing to do with technological ineptitude and everything to with the war hero having been so brutally beaten by the Viet Cong that he physically couldn’t use a keyboard. His wife would read his emails to him.

Of course, Obama won. People liked his story.

Some say President Obama has been a smashing success, achieving everything he promised to do. He himself told “60 Minutes” in December that his domestic and foreign-policy accomplishments exceeded those of any president “with the possible exceptions of Johnson, FDR and Lincoln.”

Others claim President Obama was stymied at every turn by an obstructionist Congress that wanted him to fail. Interestingly, both stories can be heard coming out of the president’s own mouth on any given day.

But last month he added a new twist to his tale. He told CBS News that “the mistake of my first term — couple of years — was thinking that this job was just about getting the policy right.” What Obama forgot to do was “to tell a story to the American people.”

What a curious thing to say, particularly for such a storyteller. It amounts to:“I did everything right, but the public can’t see it without a story.”

If amassing $4 trillion in debt over eight years is ”unpatriotic,“ how does racking up $5 trillion more in four years add up to “getting the policy right”?

Just in the last few weeks, the Obama campaign or its surrogates have accused (either directly or by insinuation) his opponent — I mean Mitt Romney, not “cynicism”— of hastening a cancer death, being a tax cheat, and wanting to put black people in chains and give children E. coli.

But fear not. If you don’t like those stories, the president has more. He’s always got more stories. And he actually believes them, too.

The Liar in Chief:

“I am told that Governor Romney’s new running mate, Paul Ryan, might be around Iowa the next few days,” he said while in Council Bluffs, Iowa.“He is one of the leaders of Congress standing in the way. So if you happen to see Congressman Ryan, tell him how important this farm bill is to Iowa and our rural communities.”
House passed bill on August 2, 2012 (Paul Ryan voted yes)

The American automobile industry has come roaring back…So now I want to say what we did with the auto industry, we can do it in manufacturing across America. Let’s make sure advanced, high-tech manufacturing jobs take root here, not in China. And that means supporting investment here. Governor Romney … invested in companies that were called ‘pioneers’ of outsourcing. I don’t want to outsource. I want to insource.

President Obama is proud of his bailout of General Motors. That’s good, because, if he wins a second term, he is probably going to have to bail GM out again. The company is once again losing market share, and it seems unable to develop products that are truly competitive in the U.S. market.

Right now, the federal government owns 500,000,000 shares of GM, or about 26% of the company. It would need to get about $53.00/share for these to break even on the bailout, but the stock closed at only $20.21/share on Tuesday. This left the government holding $10.1 billion worth of stock, and sitting on an unrealized loss of $16.4 billion.

GM’s story is a reminder of why bailouts are such a bad idea. Many will never buy their cars again because they don’t want to aid supplicants of the state, and then thanks to the government’s heavy thumb (Chevy Volt anyone?) when it comes to GM’s operations, the company is no longer in the business of profit which means talented people won’t want to work there.

Most important of all is that if GM is allowed to go bankrupt in ’08, it doesn’t disappear. Instead, carmakers with a clue get the pieces of the company that are prized by the market at a discount. The discount is the author of profitability that ensures more investment in the company, more job creation, and a more vibrant Detroit.

Lastly, GM’s decline began in the early ’70s. Coincidence? I think not. American carmakers are great at building big, gas guzzling cars. That’s their comparative advantage. But in 1971 President Nixon took away the dollar’s golden anchor, the dollar collapsed, and commodities like oil spiked as a result. Suddenly gasoline was expensive, thus giving GM’s small-car competitors a major advantage. Think about it.
