Its a pretty terrible choice to pick someone with complete opposite views as you who is being far more than openly chastised by the catholic church.

He is very smart but also radical. Unless you don't think you will need Social Security or Medicare or are very wealthy you should study his proposals carefully before you sign up for that ticket.

That's just a flat out lie. He's not touching Medicare for anyone over 55. Everyone else has a choice of sticking with the current bankrupt system or can choose another path. Those are the facts.

And another thing, people 40 and under are not counting on Social Security even being solvent when we retire.

If you think private plans will be affordable or the average american will have a retirement plan in place with a budget balanced on their backs you will be one of the many at a local DSS intake window.

So then stick with the current plan, the one that's going to go bankrupt. What part of "either - or" don't you get?

Don't forget Paul Ryan's plans to cut Pell grants. Cuz with our college system being so unaffordable right now...lets gets rid of helping people pay for it.

Or how about his demanding of women to get ultrasounds mandatory if you want to have an abortion, or his belief that a baby is a person at the time of ovulation (before sex even occurs) and has proposed criminalizing still births...(before you say left wing crazyness, look it up. These ARE his views)

College is unaffordable because the government guarantees student loans. These loan guarantees mean universities can jack up their prices for tuition because they know the government will continue to guarantee the loans. There is no inventive for them to control costs when they have the fat government piggy bank to pay.

I guess women will have to learn to use birth control instead of being irresponsible. Oh well!

How about the fact President Obama's real father is Frank Marshall Davis, a known Communist who had sexual flings with his mother? Or how David Axelrod's parents were sworn Communists? How about that? Give me a free market conservative anyday over a group of Communist reds.

...none of those things are true...

Colleges have been raising costs over the year, because of the demand for people to even work in education and high costs. As for student loans, theyre not guaranteed. You can be rejected or reduced easily and that still doesn't explain a good reason to get rid of pell grants.

Woman do use birth control...but paul ryan wants to ban it...he feels (again look this up because this IS his policy) that an unfertalized egg is a human and to block it coming to term in any way is concidered murder making hormone birth control illegal as well as still births.

None of that last statement is true...

No I believe the fact that Romney has constantly stated "I support paul ryan's budget" or "Paul Ryan's budget is right on" and now that hes under fire hes stating "I wont be following that budget" then when asked what his budget will be he states "I wont be revealing my budget until after the election", that tells me that he will be just proposing paul ryan's budget. The same medicare and social security efforts put forward by bush (written by paul ryan) and thrown out because they were ridiculous.

Meanwhile as for what he states will definitely be in the budget is to cut out Amtrak, department of education, and PBS. The train system, education, and children's programs will be cut...but he has no interest in raising taxes on the wealthy.

Only either A: he doesn't know paul ryans plan, B: magically the plan changes or C:he's omitting the changes to medicare paul ryan put in place for people 55 and older to turn it into a voucher program and strip the funds from it.

No Pres candidate can release his/her budget plan. It gives the other person a chance to tear it appart, or steal good ideas. Naturally the sitting Pres (or those trying to get that person re-elected) will push for any and all 'plans' from the opposition. It's all part of the silly game.
As far as Social Security goes, as well as Medicare...if you have enough people working, then they will both be solvent. The reason both are in the red, is because there isn't enough folks working to add to the kitty. So, get folks working...that's the bottom line.

it doesn't matter how much people put into it, if the budget pan calls for ripping the system apart. Ryan's budget plan called for ripping apart medicare and SS in order to push for more trickle down economic idelas that haven't worked .... ever. Its crazy that they have been pushing this economic experiment since the 80s, and it hasn't worked .... but they want to push for more. Conveniently of course the ones pushing for it also benefit from it.

So looking at it, just use Occam's Razor. The simplist answer is usually the correct one. A system where people have tried to cut down on expenses for the wealthy in order to boost the economy, that hasn't worked in 30 years, and they want to push for more. Does it make sense that despite all the statistics and information telling them that it wont work and it doesn't work they want to push forward anyway, or are they greedy.

Whats more likely, they still have faith in a obviously wrong tactic, or theyre greedy and want to benefit themselves and their friends. The simplest explanation is usually the correct one.

ObamaCare actually is going to rip the system apart. It rips over $700 billion dollars from Medicare to fund big government run healthcare. Good luck with that.

And what's even more interesting is people like you continue to try and extol the benefits of a system that has been tried numerious times since the Bolshevic Revolution of 1917 ... and has never worked.

obamacare...oh you mean the healthcare system that the republicans actually invented, has a 99.9% approval rating in the state that has it full force, high efficiency rating and is going to give all the same benefits of medicare....yea id rather have that then medicare ripped apart to pay for extension of bush tax cuts for wealthy to push forward a proven failed economic structure.
