People like me who are under 55 years old, Will not vote for romney now. The rep party just lost my vote and millions more. Ryan will destroy Medicare and SS for people like me. The older people also will not vote for them now because we all know that you can't belive anything that comes out of their Mouth. What a bunch of FOOLS the Reps are, They have gave it to the Dems again. Dump Dump Dump bunch of Reps.

Then stop voting for the corruption of the two party system of the Democrats and Republicans alike! Gary Johnson is the only choice for freedom and liberty as well!

I Am A or Was A Democrat Not A OBOMACRAT, But With Rommey's Choice With Paul Ryan Rommey Just "GIVE THE ELECTION AWAY". I am not saying Paul Ryan Is Not A GOOD MAN, But a bad choice to HELP ROMMEY WHERE HE NEEDED IT. I Think Our Country "IS HISTORY". SAD BUT TRUE.

Why in he'll he didn't pick Rubio or Portman or even va.'s governor is a mystery to me. Romney trying to bring attention to the deficit won't help him get elected. People want to hear how you are going to help them, what you can do for them rather than how bad the deficit is. Leave it to the Republicans to snatch defeat from the jaws of a sure victory. The democrats will crucify Ryan over his budget plan. They will scare the old people into not voting or even voting for that sorry excuse we've got now. At least he should have picked somebody from a swing state;either Florida or Ohio. Newt Gingrich would have already been 50 points ahead of Obama by now. Romney blew it big time.

Would you prefer someone like Obama, who has no plan to save Medicare? If someone doesn't take the bull by the horns, Medicare will inevitably collapse. We can NOT continue doing what is being done now in the area of government spending.

I totally agree but focusing on the deficit while it is important to you and me will NOT attract the so called independent vote. Sadly those voters mostly made up of single mothers or people too stupid to have made up their minds by now are interested in what you can give them NOW. Personally I can't fathom why anyone would have voted for Obama in the first place except the Blacks but evidently half the country will vote for whoever promises them a free ride.

As an aside to my above post,I don't like the electoral college. I understand why it's in place but it seems to me that allowing a few states to elect a President is not representative of the whole country. Our President will be elected by the voters mostly on our coasts and in the bigger cities. Just look at who these people are;mostly immigrants who don't make it past the east or west coast and who cling to their home cultures or huge numbers of welfare sponges, gang bangers, and homosexuals or union members wanting their piece of the pie. The rest of us are already known as "flyover country".

Ryan is exactly what the republicans stand for old dud.Why would you be against that? There is a reason that the congress has the lowest approval rating in history.A big part of that reason is Paul Ryan and the block every thing Our #1 job is to defeat Obama Republicans.Ryan will be great for the base but will not get the undecided independants to vote for them.

Then Bush would have never been President because he lost the popular vote both times.

I agree with you on getting the independent vote. As far as blocking Obama goes he NEEDED to be blocked. I'm against anything he stands for.

If elected he will be a heartbeat from the presidency, so no I can't say I am happy. I do not care for his Medicare proposal or much of anything he proposes. Frankly I think he is in over his head. From what I've heard from him he stands firm with his positions unlike the big flip flop, Romney.
