Oh, btw whitey, if don't remember if it was you or somebody else, but I've discussed the fact that my mother in law lost 400 grand in the tech bubble, I told her to get out, she wouldn't do it and lost. She eventually got it all back and that's my wife's' play money now. By the way I calculate it, I have earned 3 bucks in the market for every one buck I made with sweat. Oddly enough, thats" what Henry Ford did when he decided that was enough and started reducing the price on the "T".

well, heck, if you don't buy and sell, you fail to make money. If you haven't noticed this market is volitle. As it has always been in my 50 years of investing. Get over it! Hang on the bonds, play the day market. stay out of tech and stay way out of oil...that's the big boys game..If you are a first time homeowner, well, you are at my mercy.
For everyone who made money, someone lost in a buy-sell. I was speaking more to long term investing in the market, not day trading. I do have friends that make a living day trading. I'm not one. Too much risk.

I guess I'm not making my point very well. The American homeowner should not have been the man that lost while you and I gamble with our money. But they did. That is wrong. If you fail to invest in the middle class in America, America is done.

I agree. Carter and then Clinton thought that was what they were doing when they fixed it so that a person with a monthly income of $600 could buy a house with a monthly mortgage of $900.

Keep drinking the Kool-Aid. Romney has broken no tax laws that you can prove. If you can prove it post it here.
On the other hand we know that Obummer swore that he had no other names. Socialized with known communists, and Is a racist. Just saying. O yea, bowed to the Saudi King, who is head of the Muslim nations.

We have a point of agreement. Everyone wants to demonize the current tax code. Guess what, it gave the middle class the most tax breaks. Capital gains went to 0% for some lower middle class. Tax rate dropped, child tax credit, etc. Estimates are that between 65-85% of tax rate went to the middle class. This is why Obama continued the tax rate. It now his tax rate, not Bushs.

Wasn't talking about the tax code, I was talking about Wall Street gambling my money on bad paper.(housing loans that should never have been made) Warren Buffett has it right. He thinks he oughta pay more taxes than his secretary does. I agree. It's wrong, it's unfair and needs to be changed. Ronald Reagan invented "trickle down", George H.W. Bush called it Voodoo economics and he was right. Trickle down does not work, it just sends our jobs to China. Never, ever trust a rich man to do the right thing. It's in the bible.

You know, it is really easy to compare obama's past, in regard to moral turpitude and patriotism to his country, with Mr. Romney's and Mr. Ryans. You won't find any racist, socialist, terrorist associates in the R&R portfolio. You won't find shady dealings with criminals or special deals on houses with either of them. They will show you their birth certificates and their school records. Did either of them ever lose their legal license for some unknown reason that no seems to know about? Is there any evidence of malfeasance in Mr. Ryan or Mr. Romney in dealing with taxpayer money? How many rounds of golf has either of them played while being on the government tab? Any vacations for family and friends charged off to the taxpayers? How about bowing to islamic kings? Hmmmm! Looks like a no brainer to me. Even the lemmings should be able to follow this.
You made me look that up. I promised myself that I would never do that again, on one of your comments. Congratulations...liar!

Warren Buffet paid millions of dollars more in taxes than his secretary did. The percentage was less because social security/medicare was included in all of her income. Also, the entire thing was just a lie. There is no way she paid 37.8% tax rate. She would have had to have an income that would have made her a 1% person to pay that kind of rate. No capital gains either. We are talking in the milliions. Pull up the effective tax rates (after deductions) and the top 20% pay more than the next 20%. This is just a myth.

Living in Texas we don't pay state income tax and that makes a big difference in the percentage you pay. When I lived in California, in 2000, I paid about 30% in taxes when you combined federal and state income tax and my gross salary was $1400 p/mo.

We didn't know where obama was going nor where he had been before he was elected to the highest officee in the land. He has been president almost 4 years and we still don't know where he is going unless you can tell us.

You are a dipwad and full of spit. I guarantee you lost your assperations in the market if you had a dime.

Fox news is the only ones not sucking up to the destructor in chief. I don't take everything to heart that Fox reports. I watch msnbc and cbs when I want a laugh and when I want to know what the lazy ignorant are watching.

Nobody cares about Romney's taxes except you and your boy fixing to be out on the street. If obama can't give a timely, real birth certificate nor a college transcript full of Cs and Ds, well, sorry, nobody cares about tax returns.

The fact is your guy has no business experience and it shows. The working man will show up at the polls because your guy is killing us. 4 years afterwards and he is still blaming Bush? What is it going to be like in 4 more years? Same ole spit.

Romney, in for the win. Look forward to that landslide the media don't want to talk about in November.

You are a real loser. You wished half the crap you spewed was truth.

Hope and change, Baby! Keep on believing, it's just around the corner! Obama all the way, Obama's here to stay! I have no job and I have no worries. Four more years, I can handle that.
