By anyone's math Obama is worse than Bush. Bush left 10.7 trillion after 8 years and Obama added another 6-7 to that in just 4 years. 4 years from now Obama will leave an estimated 24-26 according to most analysts.

Anyone that thinks Reagan was a bad president or was worse than Carter Bush or Obama is delusional and should seek psychiatric help.

1) During Reagan's administration, REPORTED unemployment rose to 10.8%... the 8-year average was 7.5%. Unemployment didn't drop until his last year in office. Reaganomics took two terms to work. Unlike W & O, Reagan was not a wartime President. Also unlike W & O, Reagan didn't have the lack of US of A durable goods industry with which to contend. I think it's interesting to note Union busting also began in earnest during the Reagan administration.

2) Under Reagan, income tax for top earners was decreased by 20% while those of the lowest earners only dropped by 2%. And, despite all the income tax cuts, tax income for the government was still 0.1% higher than it's been at any time up until 2010. This increase amounted to hundreds of billions of dollars. There's all kinds of crazy math, and washing of money during that period in US history.

3) Reagan's Immigration Reforms granted amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants.

4) Iran-Contra blunder. Osama bin Laden is dead.

5) Reagan is beloved due, in large part, to his Manifest Destiny agenda. It's what popularized him. Obama is proof the notion any sort of Manifest Destiny actually exists. I'm still waiting for a Latino to serve at President and/or Vice President. That'll really blow away a certain segment of society. US Manifest Destiny is what kicked off the Spanish-American War, and still impacts relations between Latinos and Anglo-Saxons in this country.

6) Reagan served to end the Cold War. Obama ended the Iraq War, and will end end another major conflict before the end of his second term.

7) Reagan & Obama have special relationships with Libya.

I have always maintained there are many parallels between the political careers of Reagan and Obama. There are a few more I have in-mind, like new technology, but I'm sure the message is already clear.

And PR,according to the Bureau of Labor Stats, unemployment under reagan PEAKED to 11.3% in feb-83.
It's lowest point was 5% in oct-89.
Conservatives hate it when anyone shows the "Founding father of modern conservatism" in a bad light.
Blasphemous indeed.
