Retired,I totally agree. The minute people find you are a liberal, they automatically accuse you of everything from murder to insanity. The GOPs' refusal to work with Obama has definitely been detrimental to our economic recovery. What bothers me most is that he did try and to reach out to them, and give them a say in how things were going to work. They immediately said do everything our way or no deal. Then they blame him for all our continuing ills, while ignoring the fact that they put party over country, and insured the mess would take longer to fix. They voted against Obama propasals, that they had voted yes on when republicaNS proposed them.Cap and Trade being a prime example.

Democrat, I believe you are correct on every point. I will be voting for Obama in the fall and also hope that the GOP loses many of their seats in the House and Senate for, after all, they are not doing their jobs in support of their constituents. Maybe with some new blood in Congress, Obama will have a more successful second term. I am convinced he wants what is best for ALL OF US and not just a few as his running mate does.

There is currently over 100 bills passed by the house of representatives sitting on Harry Reid's desk. He has not brought to a vote a single piece of legislation in over 2 year's!!!!!!! Now who is stifling law making in this country?????????

If you are better off now than you were four years ago, vote for Obama. But if rising prices for everything have left farther behind, then it is time for a change in the White House.

Dan,most of the bills sitting on Reids' desk are bat shit crazy republican ideas. These bills weren't passed by the house in the spirit of cooperation. They knew they would go no where, but passed them to score political points.Just look at the fact that every house republican voted against the stim bill, but then went about getting as much as they could of the money. If the bill was that detrimental to the country, why didn't they refuse to take any of the money? They wanted to have their cake and eat it to.They have opposed every single thing Obama has proposed.I know he is not perfect, but there's no way in 4 years he hasn't proposed some good ideas. They've been determined from day one to make sure he only serves one term, whether the country goes to hell or not.

What does redistribute mean? The rich must give the people with less their money? The tax cuts today the middle class enjoys is from George W. Bush. You think taxes are not going up with all the free healthcare and 16 trillion dollar deficit? Im not rich but Im fare and what you say is not. Last 4years have been a failure. I like his smile and talks well but is in over his head. Romney was a GOVERNOR of a State and a business man. Thats right he did well so he is no good. Obama was a communtiy organizer and from Chicago at that with some shaddy guys he hung with. Economy in tank,$4.15 gallon of gas, unemployment is well over 15 percent but not reported. Main street media is in Obamas pocket. Well he will probably will win because of that but not with my vote. Change is good and the change and hope he brought NO Thank you./

When people claim child deductions or interest paid on home loans, they are engaging in wealth redistribution.Childless people and people who rent have to pay more in tazes to support these peoples sex lives and homes.Where is the fairness in that? It's what is called the social compact, people are taxed in a way,so as to do the most benefit for society.Don't forget the taxes the rich pay, also allows them to live in a prosperous and well defended country, that also protects their overseas interests.

hey there. i like Christianity. i am not a muslim. i don't like my flag burned. i don't believe in socialism-i don't like chicago mafia and i sure as hell don't care for rev.jeremiah wright. i think obama has done a shitty job and i have been a democrat for 62 years. some of you had better take a closer look at where this country is heading before you defend obama and furthermore - he is a damn far cry from a patriot. i am a patriot and a veteran that has defended this ountry. oh and before you say romney isn't either, maybe you had better take a look at his track record. if he can pull himself up and out and be a good businessman then maybe he can correct the route of crappy economy this country is in.maybe that is exactly what we need . a good businessman and not a political blabbermouth that likes to look good and does nothing.

Romney paid the same tax rate on his capital gain/dividend income as any other American would have for TGAT type of income . He also donated much more to charity than Obama. Biden gave a whopping $673 to charity. I am a registered Democrat but will be voting for Romney.

Obama already gave middle class the largest tax increase in history with Obamacare. He robbed $716 billion from elderly people's Medicare to jumpstart a health care program most Americans did not want. He thinks the murder of our Ambassador was simply " a bump in the road." I am joining the other registered Democrats and voting for Romney.

YES Harry Reid has hundreds of bills that he has refused to allow to be voted on in the Senate even though they were bi partisan bills. It is a national disgrace that he will not allow our Senators to vote up or down on these bills. IT is also true TGAT the Democrats owned the House, Senate, and Presidency from 2008-2010 and could have passed any bill they wanted. Instead they used that entire period to force a partisan health care bill ( that Americans did not want) constituting the largest tax on the middle class in U.S. History.

OBAMA has refused to work with the House or to allow bi partisan House bills to be voted on in the Senate. The AMerican people were so outraged with how he pushed the largest middle tax increase on the middle class via Obamacare that they fired Democrats in the House and gave it back to Republicans. I am a registered Democrat who will be voting for Romney. Just too many lies and scandals with the current administration, Need to get honest people in there who really care about America and who does not Apologize to our adversaries in an effort to weaken America. Morale in the service is so low under Obama that suicides are at a record high. This, along with Obamcare will be reversed when we elect Romney.

Better check your facts on that 716 bil.Obama does no such thing.Ryans plan calls for medicare patients to pay higher costs, and to use this money to give tax cuts to the rich. You are repeating an easily refutable lie.If you are not going to vote for the democratic candidate, then change to independent. You join a political party, because you believe in its'ideologies and priorities.Romneys' vision for America is contrary to the democratic partys' vision. Also Obama if given the opportunity, will appoint judges friendlier to labor and other things democrats prefer.

Yes Obama diverted $716 billion from Medicare which has harmed our seniors as more and more doctors are not accepting Medicare patients because of these cuts. Note that Obama used the $716 billion to jumpstart Obama care, the largest tax increase om middle class Americans in history. Obama has caused suicide rates in the services to an all time high because he has shown service members and their families he does mot care about them. Evidenced by tge fact he tried to quadruple Tricare fees and tried to get severely disabled combat veterans to pay for their own disabilities. Obama claimed he single handedly defeated al queada and then a week later that terrorist group attacked our embassy in Lybia and killed our ambassador and 3 Navy Seals. OBama apologizes to these terrorists and tried to cover up what happened there but has been exposed. He claimed these murders were simply no big deal, just " bumps in the road". His illegal fast and furious program killed our border agent and 16 children. He has lied to tge American people and raised taxes even though he promised not to. So son, you get your facts straight. That empty chair has ruined our economy and now wants to weaken our defenses. The food stamp president will not get a second term and should be impeached for the criminal behavior and corruption that is rampant within his non transparent administration.

Most Americans, overwhelmingly, oppose third-trimester partial birth abortions. Unfortunately Obama is for killing these innocent babies and even wants it done at tax payer expense. He also wants tax payers to pay for birth control and transgender sexual operations. The man lacks morals, he even changed our flag and doesn't put his hand over his heart when the national anthem is played, etc. I don't think neither he or his wife our proud of our country, evidenced by the way he apologizes to our adversaries. Doesn't even know how many states are in our country. His wife has ruined the school lunch program by forcing kids what to eat and depriving them if needed calories, while Obama's kids go to an elite private school eating pizza and burritos and ham hocks. Got a go, just heard democrats are calling for Eric Holder to resign for providing false testimony under oath. This is the most corrupt and inept administration in American history. Obama makes Jimmy Carter look good! Clint was right, it is time we let that empty chair go.
