Me and YOUR mother work two damn hard to give our money away. So, you can forget that shit, my man.<quoted text>
You can't just accept the fact that no one is on our side. We have to be fired up about getting what we need. We need to call our senators and representatives, and it is OK to write or call other states representatives. Congress.org will let you e-mail these people. It is time for Americans to become more interested in shaping the future of the country for the next thousand years. We need to think of how history views this era.
People making $50,000/yr are condemning people who are making $20,000/yr while protecting those making $10,000,000s/yr and even $100,000,000s/yr. Do you see the problem? The people that own most of the wealth in this country have turned the people that are working to make them their money against one another. The problem is the aggregation of wealth. In the 1980s average CEO pay was 42 times what the workers was. In 2011 it was 343 times the average worker.
Look at the fees at banks. They charge people without an account a percentage of the amount of the check they want to cash, many times even if the check is from that bank. Who doesn't have a checking account? People without enough money to keep one open. Then they charge a fee for bouncing a check. Who bounces checks? People who have enough money to have an account but may struggle with their finances. The bank is taking that money and keeping it. It helps pay the CEOs such outrageous salaries. How will we get that money back to the working people? I know that the media has framed it as people being jealous of the rich, but I think that people would be fine with the rich if they could afford to keep their family comfortably.
We have the power to get things done. Who is running the government is the most important thing. Just ask people living under oppressive governments. We all need to write the people in power and tell them to stop the fighting and work together. Tell Republicans to discuss jobs bills for veterans and for the general population. Speak up. It is important, and you should be fired up.

Let me tell your something you little twit. People depend on those coal mining jobs. There are right ways to do things and wrong. We are smart enough to know we have to move on from coal but we need other alternatives before they shut the mines down. Why dont you go educated yourself and stop acting like a 10 year old. This is beyond politics. You are talking about peoples lives right here in our own state. If you want to come on this board then grow up and bring something truthful not crappy propganda that you know nothing about. I am not a man nor am I old. You are more simple minded than anyone else on this board.

I know that coal is an important part of WV economy, and possibly the current restrictions/guidlines are severe but the industry has been under regulated and too much has been able to slide by.

I think you are the one acting childish. I don't deny that people rely on those jobs. It doesn't mean that it isn't poisoning us all, or that the industry isn't going to leave in a few decades. These companies that you hold in such high esteem don't care about you. They don't want regulations that protect lives because they cut into their profits. Our children have to live in some of the highest levels of pollution causing one of the highest rates of asthma in the country. That is not propaganda. It is fact. I know people like you can't quite grasp the concept, but nonetheless it is what it is. Why if someone has an opinion that isn't yours do you attack them personally? You need to be more open minded to what is reality. We can keep the coal jobs we have and start making the transition to the next level. If we just sit back and rely on coal, then WHEN the industry pulls out of the area what will we do then. These are questions that need to be addressed now. I don't understand how it is that I am being a child for trying to think of solutions now and not when it is too late to fix.

anyone that is for the Fracking going on, can't complain about mining job losses....they are directly related.
The Power plants are switching over to gas because it is so abundant now and the price is so low....
