Voted 'Yes,' but only because I don't think adding Ryan to the ticket is really going lure many people away from voting Democrat.

He's not an obese lard ass....so at least he doesn't fit the conventional white republican stereotype....and he can piece together a paragraph without putting his foot in his mouth. Would probably be a better ticket with Romney as VP and Ryan as Pres....

Going to run fence sitting voters, especially older, poor, and middle class voters to the blue side.

I just don't get it, what is everyone so excited about? Neither side has actually done a thing to bring jobs to us.

I fear you are right, unless they can convince them that if Obamacare is not over turned, the old people are going to suffer. Romney needs to talk about this day and night. When we get past 75 we are gone.

Doesn't this show the GOP can't get it right. Why put the guy with brains and guts as number 2? Ryan is red meat Mitt is cotton candy.

If the Dems had any brains, we haven't seen them.

It is kind of a shame we have become a two party system. You have two groups of political parties and their billionaire friends, corporate big wigs, and whatever else they can use to stay in power, making all the rules and shoving them down our throats.

I would like to see the "Common Sense" party - I am beginning to trust no politician period - not even right here at home.

The "Common Sense Party" Sounds good, but I can see troubles on the horizon. What would seem common sense to a liberal may not seem common sense to a conservative, therefore labeling of how a person thinks cannot be allowed, lol. I guess the solving of a problem would be the most important thing, common sense would certainly be a refreshing switch from what we have now.

Marco Rubio would've been a solid choice as well, but might've been viewed as a shallow, baseless selection intended only to draw in the minority vote. Ryan was a good, practical choice to get things accomplished as far as economical issues are concerned. However, in hindsight, that minority vote was the difference.
