Romney/Ryan will destroy America for working people! I have never understood the Republican leanings of working people of East Tennessee.

The fact is that President Obama has cut taxes for small business and working Americans. The Republicans in Congress are against extending tax breaks for citizens making less than $250,000 unless they are extended for those making more. They want to cut taxes for the wealthy and raise taxes on the middle class and poor. I thought Republicans were against raising taxes. I guess they should qualify that stance and say that they are against raising taxes on the rich; forget about that as far as the middle class and poor are concerned.

Blocked by the Republican party that vowed on inaguration night to ruin this country by voting no on anything Obama agreed to even if it was a Republican idea. One day when a bridge collaspes in a Republican district and American citizens fall to their death, I wonder how long before Fox News and some Republican airhead whines that Obama wouldn't let them fix it... You know the Republican party that wants to spend 40 billion dollars preventing a terrorist attack on a bridge but wouldn't spend 40 cents to keep it from falling down.

eastend pat if you feel so beholden to folks that don't give a crap about you patrick henry or america you the one that needs to go some where, if you can tell me that the U.S. is better off since we started the top down economics that you guys love way back in 1980, then you are not living in the same country I am, and you talk about wealth redistribution, well in the last 35 years we have had the largest redistribution of wealth this country has ever seen, it has went from the middle class up, that is the reason we are in the shape we are in. That is our history it happened, it hasn't been a dream or made up economics, it happened. It ain't cause of inovation or hard work it is because of changing laws and tax codes that have benefited the wealthest of us, both parties have lived by it and adopted it at some level.

No one forced banks to give out bad loans. We don't have over regulation, what we have is american workers won't work for $3 per week, thats the reason jobs were taken over sea's not cause of productivity, regulation or anything else. Look up what corporations pay taxes, it sure ain't to high. I believe I work for what I get it ain't cause some rich guy or some corporation choose to give it to me, the top down econ theory never worked and it has only made the rich extremely richer and got us in the shape we are in. The most productive time in our history look what corporate and personal tax rates were. We have people who wants what this country has to give, but never wants to give back. If you do a little research you will find bad loans didn't cause the crash. GREED and theft.

Let us not forget the Housing Market crash that was indeed caused by the Bush administration. He put up a good smoke & mirror diversion by allowing everybody the "luxury" of mortgaging almost any home they wished for. So, a consumer who makes $30K annually is qualified for a $350K house with decent credit & $5k down payment? Yep, that makes sense & building a great foundation for the future. The entire lending industry had to go through an overhaul in 2008 because of that fool & his lending policies. As a Mortgage Loan Originator, I do know a little bit of what I am talking about before any Bush supporters attempt to argue. How can anybody be a Bush supporter, ever? The man bankrupted every company his Daddy made him a CEO of, & basically bankrupted America the same way. Let us not forget his running mate in Dick Cheney either. Before Clinton & W. Bush, I was a registered Republican & since those two have held office I have turned into an Independent Moderate. The Clintons are backing Obama & have stated they will provide him with guidance during the next term: OK, enough reason for my vote (unless Bill or Hillary could actually be the President).

The democrats had the house and the senate for the last two years of Bush's time in office with Barney Frank as the chairman of the housing committee, so you can pile some of the crap that happened on Bush for not using his power of the veto and stopping some of the crap that they were putting through crap that led to this mess that we are in right now.

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid had a major role in this mess we are going through and people are still trying to put all the blame on Bush!

He is a big part of the problem because he let Trent Lott and the republicans piss away money on bullshit pork just like the Democrats!

At least he would pull the trigger on anyone that screwed with us!

The problems with Democrats are that think that their party does no wrong and that they are for the poor people!

As long as they get obama money they wouldn’t even give a shit if obama let Chinese move into the Pentagon, then let the Arabs take over the US Supreme Court and implement Sharia Law!

JUST GIVE ME GIVE ME MY FREE OBAMA MONEY!

People, you are missing the big picture and that is the major cover up of the MURDER of Libyan Ambassador!

Obama is not a leader that can be trusted to do what it takes to protect this nation from Arab aggression of any kind!

An Ambassador is MURDERED and keeps on campaigning like nothing has happened.

This is a really big deal, this is the first time an ambassador has been MURDERED since 1979 when Jimmy (I thought I was the worst president ever elected) Carter!

Since obama has been in office these piss ants countries have been pushing the envelope and they are getting away with it!

To hell with the economy, we really need to think of our borders and defense our country!

Obama wants to cut the defense budget by a trillion dollars over the next 10 years.

If we have to fight a major war, we will be trouble and the economy will be the least of our worries!

By the way, how many more Border Agent have to be MURDERED by illegal drug smugglers before we do something about it?

Obama and his group of idiots (like Napolitano) sure in the hell won't do shit about it, because it would hurt his future voting base!

If obama is reelected it will not be my fault and the ones who put his ass back into office deserve everything they get!

Thats all folks who are gopers around here worry about how much we are giving away. Look at the budget around 6 percent goes to social welfare programs. About 70% or this county gets government help. Free lunchs or breakfast or both at school, housing, health coverage or welfare. That is very funny. We don't worry about a man who makes 1.56 billion a year and does not pay any taxes cause he had no earned income, only capital gains, or sheltered it oversea's. Or a guy who made 21 million and paid 13.8% which is less than a couple who makes 65k between them would pay as a percentage of there income. Keep believing we have not already had the largest redistribution of wealth we have ever had in the last 30 years. Except it went bottem up, and from tax coffers to the wealthest few in our nation. This is history it did happen. And either party wnts to change it really.

Simple Answer: Legalize Marijuana, Grow it in the U.S.A., Tax the h*$l out of it & keep the tax dollars here, forget about it. If Marijuana were taken out of the War on Drugs & legalized, that alone would fix the U.S. Economy. Before I get the same old tired and ignorant response, I do not partake in smoking MJ. I totally see the benefits of it being legal though.

I have never smoked marijuana and had a lengthy career in law enforcement but I am openminded enough to see the benefits of both sides of this issue. The war on drugs is over, we lost. Even if legalized, marijuana would have to be controlled just like we control alcohol. Also, I dont necessarily see a benefit in trying to tax something that, when legalized, could be grown in your own home for next to nothing and wouldnt be taxed then (i.e. is it much easier to grow weed than tobacco).

I totally get your point on individuals growing on their land or in their homes. I guess this is an area that would need a clause or amendment to the legalization law. The law would have to mimic the same laws that govern alcohol & moonshine. Moonshine (non taxed alcohol) is still illegal today & yes it does continue. However, Moonshine production has almost dropped off of the charts if you compare over time & in other areas of the country. If an individual grows marijuana themselves (anywhere, period) then the same laws that are in effect will continue to take effect & punishment will be swift & accurate. People are still going to do it, I understand this. These people do it now, and Drug Lords or illegals prosper from it. Why not hurt these drug lords & help our authorities & citizens by making it legal. Honestly, Tax it just as high as tobacco & alcohol. I appreciate your career in law enforcement & I actually get my information from an old buddy from College who has worked his way up to the FBI. I will find out what the name of the organization that he supports & come back with the information. It is basically all law enforcement professionals for the legalization of marijuana & for it to be dropped from the War on Drugs.

An uninformed electorate will take the side of the biggest ranter. Bring on the Texas-style posse the lynch mob. War is Romney's only available economic "stimulus-warfare". Do we really need another four years of the cult of Bush?
