Ryan has far better credentials in Congress than most of those who have ran recently. He is articulate, well spoken, can actually make a budget. Those facts in themselves put him way ahead of the rest of the pack.

You fraking kill me. Articulate, well spoken, what trash. Hitler filled those boots. That has nothing to do with a good man.
Con men are articulate and well spoken. Lets look at this guys record.
He voted for TARP, the auto bailouts,
housing subsidies, national ID, Making the
Patriot Act permanent, surveillance without
a warrant, No Child left behind, keeping troops
in Iraq indefinitely, and to top it off, the 2008
and 2009 stimulus, which was the robbing of Americans.

I'm with you trek! I can't vote for either Obama or Romney. Can't vote for a liar. And Ryan is not even a funny joke.
A week ago, it was RNC Chair Reince Preibus saying that the 63 percent of voters who want to properly vet Mitt Romney's finances are "ridiculous."

Today, Romney called those very same 63 percent of voters "small minded."

You are just reacting like a child, as your post was discredited. Since 'your' statements reflect only first grade opinions.
Also, the better of 2 evils doesn't solve anything. Neither Obama nor Romney is fit to be President, or their VP's.
Its a shame only Corporate backed Politicians can be President, not, American citizen backed. The Media (corporate owned) only gives coverage to the Demo or Repo that they want you to vote for. What American public chose these puppets to run in the first place?
Now, I suppose that since I mentioned the word Puppet or Corporate, that I've again proved myself to be an idiot! According to You.

Throwing out a Hitler comparison in a discussion is the internet equivalent of "YO MOMMA". It starts off the conversation by stating you haven't got an argument and haven't got a clue how to get one. You lack of social understanding come off pretty clearly.

As for the current selection for President, well I am not all that happy with it, however rather than throwing my hands up I have at least looked at the differences in the options. They are not as great as I would like, but they are there. The current admin is either clueless or actively trying to ruin our country. The opposition at least has parts of a plan that would slow our descent into oblivion. Not a great choice, but a clear one.

Do I think that there are better choices out there? Yes! Do we get to chose from them? NO!

And I do stand by my statements about Ryan. Congress is a cesspool, and for better or ill, Ryan is far more likely to have a positive impact than any of the other actual options we have been given.

Lastly I will say this, you are correct about the lesser of two evils not solving things. But to pick the greater of two evils makes you evil too! Drag yourself out of that perfect place in your imagination and into the real world.

Tell us, what Republican do you think Romney should have picked and why?

Are you a Republican or a Democrat? If the former, then please answer the above questions.

However, if you are a Democrat, be advised that the Democrats voted for most of the things you listed.

I doubt we will hear from you again, but if we do please answer the question of who Romney should have chosen and why. This should reveal much about you whether you answer the question..., or not.

Personlly, I think you are one of those radical liberals just trying to throw negative on Romney's choice. But I could be wrong.

Your choice of a better VP and why you would have chosen them will prove me wrong about you. I don't mind being proved wrong so please answer the question.

Why the Right or Wrong someone must be? In my research I have found that there is no difference between Republican or Democrat. They are special interest groups that are concerned with their own agenda. In reality, they are there to give the illusion of choice. You, in your reply tell me that you are a Republican. I was a Democrat for 40 years, only because my parents were. Now, that I'm hitting 70 years old and after much research I would say I belong to no Party, except the American Party.
Now, its obvious that after Bush and his 8yrs, that his policies helped destroy a prosperous country (Republican). Obama (Democrat) has carried on the same policies and our country is still on its downward slide. Hence, no difference between the two.
Why do you insist on defending a special interest group instead of defending America? I am neither Democrat or Republican and havn't been for many years now. I vote without carring about the persons party. I research without the poison TV opinion. Its legal for the Media to lie.(look it up)
And research on Paul Ryan is very easy. He supports the policies that helped the downslide of this country Period.
Fact, after over 80% of Americans said "No" to the stimulus and bailout. Our Senate and President did it anyway. That is Treason. Our Senators and Represenitives are supposed to represent the People. At one time they did. Now, they do as they are told. Vote the way they are told. Or, they might get something in the mail they don't want.
I served in 2 wars, so don't tell me I'm no Patriot.
I'd like to know, where did Obama come from that the "People" chose him? It seems to me he was a nobody from Chicago that the Media chose to support.
My original post was to point out what Paul Ryan supports. Then this ignorant behind "OI" twisted an analogy I used to make a point, just to discredit my whole post. Because he supports Ryan. It amazes me how OI used this as a reply: "Ryan has far better credentials in Congress than most of those who have ran recently. He is articulate, well spoken, can actually make a budget. Those facts in themselves put him way ahead of the rest of the pack."
First, well spoken and articulate are not qualifications. That leaves "he can actually make a budget" as the only qualification the man has according to OI. So, OI needs a candidate with only one qualification. That the man knows Math. There is no VP that is going to help our countries budget using a foreign bank as our source of currency.
I respect your opinion even if I don't agree. I do not have a better choice for a VP or a President. Too many corrupt Politicians. The better of 2 evils is still evil.
Have a nice day. I expect this post to be completely discredited because of one misspelled word. That is the mentality out there.

Your 80% figure is not factual.

If you don't like Republicans or Democrats, who are you voting for?

Republicans and democrats got us in this mess. How are they going to get us out? They can't. Obama is carrying out the bush doctrine no matter what the republicans or democrats want to believe. Best example of this is the NDAA which is like the patriot act on crack.

Well, Lamar Alexander, or Bob Corker, or Kay Bailey Hutchison. or ... Ryan is a ridiculous choice due to his extreme right-wing policy positions. Ryan is a proven 'big government spender', just look at his voting record. Romney, also a ridiculous choice, has simply 'bought' this nomination. Romney should have chosen someone closer to the center on the issues. Ryan is too extreme. It appears that the republicans truly believe that if they get only the 'rich, white vote', they can win the election. It is not the 8% radical idiots on the right, or the 8% radical idiots on the left, that will determine this presidential election.

Romney has too many issues-tax returns, overseas investments, being of the mormon faith, venture/vulture capitalist, etc; and he appears to believe his above answering any questions or concerns of the voters. And then he picks Ryan to salvage his sinking ship; don't think it will work. Time will tell!!!

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Aquarius

There simply aren't enough hours in the day today for you to do everything that's on your list, so concentrate on the priorities. Don't feel guilty about what's been left out and start to worry about it. This isn't an easy day because you're feeling pressured and anxious, so don't expect too much from yourself. There's less energy than usual, which doesn't help.
