Wow, I've never seen such blatant criticism of a Republican on Fox News - or fact checking.

The article you are refering to with your link was written by Sally Kohn, a paid FOX contributor. She is also a community organizer (sound familiar) and a liberal.

I guess FOX means it when they say they are "FAIR and BALANCED".

LOL! Just when you think Fox "news" finally exhibited a speck of journalistic integrity, you find out that it was just a token liberal (who isn't even on staff) who pointed out Ryan's lies.

Just goes to show you - the right has no interest in truthfulness or honesty. Their only agenda is what's best for their political party.

A sampling of headlines about Paul Ryan's speech:

"Will Paul Ryan's truth-bending hurt him?"

" Paul Ryan and the Post-Truth Convention Speech "

"Fact Check: Paul Ryan Takes Factual Shortcuts In Speech"

"Paul Ryan's Speech Proves The New Political Truth: It's Fine To Lie"

"Paul Ryan, A Lie, Is A Lie, Is A Lie"

" Paul Ryan's breathtakingly dishonest speech "

"The Lies And Lies And Lies Of Paul Ryan"

"Paul Ryan's factual shortcuts in convention speech"

"Critics Of Paul Ryan's Speech Point Out Numerous Factual Errors It Contained"

"Fact-Checking Paul Ryan's RNC Speech"

"Finding the truth in Ryan's speech"

I've been wondering for a long time what it would take for the MSM to start paying attention to the staggering number of blatant lies the Romney/Ryan team is telling.

I guess this is what it took.

Thank you, Paul Ryan.

Last night you said ALL the speakers used teleprompters. I said WRONG! Condoleezza Rice did not use one. You argued up and down I was wrong and my news source was not legitimate and your news source IS legitimate.

Well now, go over to the governor thread where you apologized to me because YOU were wrong about Condoleezza Rice.

I had the true facts last night and I got them from FOX. It took you all day to verify that I did not make it up.

So who's news source is legitimate?

LOL! Yes, I spent the WHOLE DAY trying to verify that information. In fact, that's all I got done.

Grow up.

Hey, I'll admit I had no idea who Sally Kohr was. I'll also admit I'm surprised that Fox News has any liberal op-ed writers on their website.

But lets not get too carried away and start claiming Fox News is "fair" or "balanced." It is the media arm of the Republican party, everyone knows it and they don't pretend it's not. I'm ok with that too, media leans in different directions and I'll admit journalists tend to lean left more often than not, either intentionally or unintentionally.

I think it's important to get news from multiple sources so that people can get the whole story and decide what they think for themselves. It's unfortunate people only tune into the news sources that tell them the stories they want to hear.

I personally avoid all cable news networks because they're all simply corporate shills, sensationalizing news to increase viewership and appease their core audience's political leanings. I stick to news aggregate sites like Yahoo and Google News, or NPR.

Oooo, NPR... that's liberal isn't it? No, it's not. Not if you actually listen to it, and I'll fight to death on that claim.

I came across some interesting information.
At this time in 1980, Carter was 4 points ahead of Reagan--------Carter lost....Reagan won the election
After the 1980 DNC convention, Dukakis was +17 points over Bush--------Dukakis lost...Bush won the election
You can dig and find all kinds of interesting information.

I came across some interesting information.

Cases where one candidate had led the other for essentially the whole race have been associated with landslides - Bill Clinton in 1996, Ronald Reagan in 1984, Richard Nixon in 1972 and Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1952 and 1956.

You can dig and finds all kinds of interesting information.

I came across some interesting information.

When candidates get a small or no polling bounce coming out of their convention, lose the general election - George McGovern in 1972, Walter Mondale, in 1984, and Bob Dole in 1996.

You can dig and finds all kinds of interesting information.

I came across some interesting info. Turns out the polls were heavily lobsided. More democrats were asked. Obama has also lost his supposed bounce. Obama also will not meet with the Isreali prime minister due to scheduling problems. Obama doesn't like the jews thats the real truth,
HAVE YA HEARD that the chevy volt is costing the taxpayers 49 thousand per car. Sounds like failure to me joe biden.
Under 60 days and obama is done and all you no life hand out liberals can crawl back under your rocks or holes.

I came across some intereting information. Turns out that your source - Rasmussen - has proven rightwing bias (as I've already shown you). Polls that select a difference sample of likely voters are the ones that are accurate, not Rasmussen.

And guess what else - Obama will certainly win the Jewish vote. Just like last time. Just like every Democratic candidate.

Have you heard, every new technology in the US has happened due to government investment and that over time they return exponentially more value to the nation than the up-front costs? Of course that concept is too sophisticated for the average wingnut brain, so all they can do is mindlessly repeat distortions of the facts.

In less than 60 days, Barack Obama will win his second term by a landslide. The right chose a dud who doesn't have a prayer so they have to spend all their time lying and distorting the facts so they don't become depressed by the reality of the situation.
