Now Brooke, I would expect more from you than leftist buzzwords. Care to back them up?

I'm pretty stuck on the anti-gay thing Romney has going on. That is tagged on to hateful and ignorant. Nevermind the fact that they both have every intention of taking away women's rights to birth control and other forms of contraception, which falls under sexism.

I could list off debate dates, transcripts, and pieces of legislature, but we'd be here all night.

I'm not sure that I can argue Romney is not anti-gay. I'll have to let that one go. However, I'm not sure that warrants hateful. As to the last point, I haven't heard or read anything about taking away contraceptives.

Maybe you can help me understand something. But, before I continue, I want to make clear that I am not looking to pick a fight with you or any others. That said, I do not understand how opposition to abortion is sexist. I have seen you and others state this before and I can not figure out the spin.

How does it NOT warrant being hateful? Romney looked a war veteran in the face and told him he would reinstate Don't Ask, Don't Tell and would not allow benefits to extend to his same-sex partner. A man that has fought for this country and put his life on the line, and some big-headed corporate dickhead is telling him he is a less-than? Unworthy of equality? Send the gays to die for us, but don't they dare ask for equality when they come home! That is -extremely- hateful.

Romney has made several comments about being against contraception for women, including comments regarding a recent Senate amendment over birth control and insurance. I find it sexist that nobody argues Viagra's insurance coverage, but my health as a woman is under attack all the time by white, right-wing men.

He's a dickhead that will make birth control illegal. This town is already infested with enough inbred hicks as it is.

This is why I'm voting for Gary Johnson. He probably won't get elected, but Romney is an idiot and I'm not exactly for what Obama stands for either.

No one is going to make birth control illegal. No one could if they wanted to. No one has said that is a goal of theirs.

I would not base the countries future on what you have listed here. We are 17 trillion in debt. We are being driven into bankruptcy if we follow the current administration. While I agree you have his general opinion correct, he is the most qualified to lead with the circumstances we are in. In regards to homosexual freedoms, the president has no power to grant marriage rights.
Marriage laws are defined by each state.

The current leader didn't pass the legislation that caused this issue--the Bush Administration's last bit of legislature did.

Actually most of the problems occurred because of the 1993 fair housing act which forced banks to give 3% of their loans to high risk mortgage applicants. Then the top 3 banks were deemed to large to fail and they started giving out loans with variable interest rates. That housing bubble busted the last year of Bushes term.
And I didn't say our president caused the current problems. I said the challenger seems more adept in figuring out how to get our economy started again. We have to do more than what is currently being done ex: printing more money, borrowing money, not cutting the budget significantly, and either not having or communicating effectively an over all plan to put in place. The congress has worked without a budget for almost 4 years.

Also, the world has noticed the lack of an announced plan and down graded our economic status to that of a second world nation.
