I really can't believe many of these Republican racist rednecks, are so dense that they vote against their own self worth! They are not aware that the one percent elitist, will dump on them after they con the working poor's vote. Occupy Wall Street will resurge after Winter is over, and certainly before and after
the election of 2012. What is really a mystery is that the fundamental and evangelical churches claim to be Christian, but rail against those of the ninety nine percent, who have the least, in "this" life.
They need to read Matthew Ch 24 and 25. Then see if their politics matches what it says>

Republicans like to spew Gods word but rarely live by it nothing more than a bunch of hypocrits. There first though is you need to get a job nd quit feeding off others.

The funny thing about that is they have a problem with the individual mandate which requires everyone to have health insurance which was a Republican idea lol. Nothing more than stupid fear mongering rednecks.

The Tea Baggers will meet their waterloo if Romney is selected the nominee for Republicans. Theres only one only reason Romney says he supports Paul Ryan's bill for the elitist continued inrichment. Willard Romney just wants the Tea Party's vote. Occupy Wall Street and Tea Party supporters who are not on the take from the Koch Bros, is that both want the safety nets that saves them when adversity comes to them, or loss of income, disability etc.

Why not start protesting a local bank that has actually been in trouble and sued for haveing officers who knowingly defrauded depositors. Remember the Atwood affair. Oscar Black is incarcerated at the moment for his crimes. It seemed clear the President of the Board was at fault in allowing that to happen. Wondr why more folks did not get their assets out of that bank. A large number of your fellow citizens lost huge amounts of money in that deal. Funny how it all got sealed and went away after the bank lost in court. Go read the back issues of the WEatherford Democrat at the library. It is on micro flim for easy access. Bet the Atwoods will never forget what was done to them and others who trusted a con who was actually on the board of the bank.

No bank customers lost any money by banking there due to the Oscar Black scandal. You are on the verge of lying when you imply that.

I don't identify. Their message is not focused and disjointed. I work everyday and pay my bills. All I see is a bunch of youngsters and union agitators who fill entitled and donít want to do the hard work, i.e. start at the bottom (in sometimes meaningless jobs) and work their way up. Regardless of your political point of view - one has to admit our country have a bunch of young people who have grown up expecting things come easy. I am a native Parker County-ian, Democrat, currently living in Los Angeles. I am conservative economically and socially progressive. I look out my office window at LA City Hall and see a bunch of tents full of people looking for a protest to go to. They would be protesting Pink Flamingos if someone started a rally. Many Democrats on the west coast feel the same way. There's one thing that I agree with Republicans on: These protestors need to have a reality check.
Weatherford City Council candidate Tawni Maughan is an Occupy Wall Streeter. She and her dog were part of the sit-in at the Annex. She lost.
