People in Malone that don't support the movement probably don't understand it (not many millionaires in the area).

Is that the movement where the college kids with the laptops think they don't have enough toys? Nope, not for me.

No, actually this is the movement that is asking for the billionaires that stole from retirees and average Americans in a fraudulent way. This main purpose of this movement is that they be thrown in jail!
Before Obama took office over 600 people were arrested on average per year for "white collar" SEC violations. Since Obama has taken office not a single person has been prosecuted. We need REAL leadership in this country... It's not red or blue, it's FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE.

Concerned,
Thank you for trying to educate the people on here about what what is really going on. They continue to make comments without taking the time to fine it what it is. There are a lot of people out there would support the movement if they only knew. Thanks again.

It's too bad people are not focusing as much on the life long chronic welfare leeches that have been taking advantage of the system all of their life, everyone knows who they are. They spend their entire life DRAINING the country's resources and they THINK that it is owed to them, a BIRTHRIGHT you might say. THAT"S ok in FRANKLIN county NY though BECAUSE there is more of THEM than there ARE productive PEOPLE now.DO you THINK that if there WAS a job AVAILABLE for someone who HAS BEEN on WELFARE for 30 years that they would RUSH right in and APPLY for it?

yeah right

nothing but a bunch of spoiled brats who sailed or who are sailing thru college with sociology degrees and can't find a job. frikkin boo-hoo. should have chosen a major that would actually be USEFUL, like engineering or nursing. NO, that would actually require some WORK on their part and less partying. now they think they are ENTITLED to everything and obama will oblige them. lots of votes there. here's an example of their behavior:

NEW YORK -- An "Occupy Wall Street" protester threw a violent fit in a McDonald’s after employees refused to give him free food.

Fisika Bezabeh, 27, ripped a credit-card reader from a counter and threw it at workers at about 2:30am local time Friday at the downtown Manhattan restaurant, which has become a bathroom spot for protesters.

No one was hurt by Bezabeh, who has been seen hanging out with protesters in the occupied park, police sources said.

He was charged with criminal mischief.

Cheryll Forsatz, a McDonald’s spokeswoman, said,“It’s still an ongoing police investigation, and we’re cooperating with the police.”

they are just a bunch of dirty, gimme-gimme-gimme, liberal douchebags.

This is why people are protesting,,,
People like him,,

In any mass movement their will be people like
Fisika that are crazy and do not represent the movement as a whole.

You cant judge a movement of the people by one person.

It's a liberal movement. Of course they'd support it. How many teachers do you think are out there demonstrating - in this age of teacher cutbacks?

One? Two?

dead on perfect. they are supported by the liberal unions. they are disrupting normal business operations and causing business owners to lose money and lay people off. nice movement. right down the toilet.

would anyone hire anyone appearing in the ridiculous digital videos? not me. they are cutting their own throat.

it won't last. they will move back to mommy and daddy when it gets too cold to carry on like a bunch of wackos in their tents.

I feel for them only in that its harder than hell to get a job coming out of college then when I did 20 years ago. Still, there's got to be something more productive they could be doing then whining about the rich.

Why shouldn't the Rich be taxed more??

They profited from this country,, so they should
Support it now.

This is not a movement about Whining about the rich..

It's about Economic Justice.

The top 1% of wage earners in this country pay more than 30% of taxes collected. They also employ more than 50% of the employed people in this Country.
When this movement began, I liked it, but now it's all about "entitlements". If you didn't work hard for it, you don't deserve it.

Protesting Wall Street and the handouts they received while profiting the whole time is a fantastic cause, and those who started this movement started it for this reason.
This movement should not have become about not being able to get a job, and expecting to be given some money from the rich just because they have more than you.

So let me see if I got this right...

Joe Janitor makes $10000 a year and pays $1000 in taxes (10%.... again this is just an example..)

Now you have Joe Billionaire who makes $1000000000 a year, employs 80,000 people (all of which pay taxes), and also pays $50000000 in taxes...

Now the argument is Billionaire should pay even more and Janitor should pay less?

I know the argument is it should be equal percentage (or more for the rich) but you also have to realize that Mr. Janitor is only paying 1000 in taxes. Mr. Billionaire is creating jobs, employing taxpayers, paying taxes, etc...

If I were Mr. Billionaire I would laugh... sell my company to an overseas country, take my billions and laugh as the 80,000 people I used to employ lose their job... they could go occupy wall st or the unemployment office.

Don't bite the hand that feeds you.
