Right on. After the mysteriously went completely red (very fishy) it's nice to see a blue spot again.

That's probably because this poll was featured on CNN Sunday morning. I suspect people saw that and then came here to vote.

I recently took a similar poll among Main St. passer-bys. The question was, "Do you identify with agricultural workers?" In that few answered in the affirmative, we should conclude that the vast majority of Americans OPPOSE the agricultural industry. We might further infer that there must be among this majority of opposers a significant number who would support police intervention and suppression.

I just don't think tax breaks for the wealthy are very fair while programs for the poor and working class are on the chopping block.

The percentages don't look right to me.

It is not 1% and 99%

It is more like 1%, 98%, and 1%.

The latter two can vary a lot.

Aug. 16, 2011: financial gains over the last decade in the United States have been mostly made at the "tippy-top" of the economic food chain as more people fall out of the middle class. The top 20 percent of Americans now holds 84 percent of U.S. wealth, the 2nd 20 % holds 11%, and the third 20 % holds 4 %.

Seems like there is an awful lot of 1% ers.
Do you really think your middleclass will survive?
All I hear from those opposing the Peoples Right to protest are incantations of the Talking Head Media.
Turn off Your TV's and Talk Radio and Think For Yourselves.
We are being lied to... have been since about 1913.
But you all can keep driving SUV's till the gas runs out, keep feeding the big corporations and banks... just like your going to do in the morning (black friday)... keep voting in a system that manipulates your mind and your actual votes.
In other words... keep your blinders on... maybe you'll make it thru and die before it all crashes... then just your children and grandchildren will have to deal with it... just like all the F@%*!@! that left it to us!!

It's not about Michael Moore, though I'm sure you would like to spin it that way.

Then we need to get Moore out of the Occupy movement. He is a proven
liar and gives Occupy a bad and wrong image.

You really like to assume about others. You should ask instead of
assuming. I am not against Occupy at all. I am against that it
is messed up with the likes of Michael Moore. There are specific issues I'd like to protest, but not with liars like Michael Moore.

The 99% is made up of very different people. We have different
views and are not united in our protests. I read you mentioned about the gap between the rich and poor. I agree. We need to Occupy
more specifically. I think medical doctors, pro athletes, entertainers, are insanely over paid and a big reason for the gap. I'd like to know. where to go to Occupy these issues specifically
and peacefully.

Propose some specific workable solutions instead of just criticize others' views without offering a better counter proposal.

When the T party and the Occupiers finally see the commonality of their needs and unite that's when something will truly change in the way things are run.
