Its doing great if you are the 50% that is not working and getting welfare, food stamps, free education, free cell phone, free child care, free health insurance e and free housing. I would vote for him again. Life is great. Get a raise. Have more kids.

Trust me when I say that I don't even want to think about that cost.Question:What is up with the fact Mrs.Obama takes different planes ahead of the "big O" which cost the taxpayers twice as much? Maybe even she can't stand being around him, can't say that I blame her.

What has he done? Unemployment is higher than 8.3%, because if does not count the people who just gave up! He ended the war?? Do you believe that? What about all the service men and women returning home to find what job market???? Obama killed the Canadian pipeline that would have created 20K jobs and not cost the US tax payer anything...

Obama could care less about the economy. He is all about destroying jobs and businesses. Another four years of his failing policies, will put us all in another great depression.

It was personal debt that kicked off the financial crises. It was frauds on such a broad scale it brought down the largest economy in the world, the USA. Many of the large US banks lost there way, they forgot such basic things like if someone has nothing to loose for not paying why would they worry about honestly making right there debts. And people have seriously underestimated how large the shift in values over the last several decades has been. How much family structure has changed and the effects of broad government interventions (all forms of welfare-entitlements, etc) which are used on election day as bribes.

The bankers side of the current economic crisis was caused by people being very effective – the bonuses reflect that – but utterly incompetent. They are competent at creating bonuses but extremely ineffective at anything else. The banks thought they could get people into perpetual debt service, they ignored the shift in values and demographics and blindly believed political correctness. The new borrows felt no shame in defaulting, had no problem lying to get more money with no intention of paying it back. It was the banks fault for making larger and larger loans and completely ignoring the probability of default. Yes it was the banks fault for loaning large amounts of money to people who could not/had no intention to pay it back then sell these loans off on gullible suckers. Very different from the 1950′s social ideal.

It was the insurer’s of these loans who also made the same mistakes. The definition of an insurable risk is an event that is unlikely to happen. If the event is likely, then the risk premium goes up, if the risk is high enough the risk premium equals the principal and really this is no longer insurance at this point, its a standby replacement which is fully payed for. Credit default swaps, think of it as car insurance for home-loans. The problem with credit default swaps, they were vastly too cheap, they in no way correctly assessed the risk of default. They could not cover the massive numbers of defaults, they were bankrupted by this.

In the 1990′s had a much smaller sub-prime disaster which collapsed on itself. The sub-prime crises for the most part developed under Bush. And yes Bush was clueless until the whole thing crashed. I felt he was most at his most competence in dealing with the crises, unlike the war. I have not seen anyone give him credit for it. I guess it serves no one political purposes.

And now we are here. The economy slowed sharply and unemployment followed. As you know if you look at the workforce participation rate nothing has improved and unemployment is still rising as of 2013. We have Obama's the bread and circuses president. The Colosseum has been replaced by politically correct TV and entertainment. The bread replaced by the EBT card. Those scammers who took the bank for there money are still here, they are scamming anyone they can, watch out!
