It is just a polical stepping stone. How ever the my thoughts on gay rights is not matter what you are you are intitled to be happy. I am not and will not judge you if you have a partner in life that is the same sex. and If everyone was as chritian as they say they are the would feel the same. Gay people do not choose to be gay they are born that way. So people put on your big girl or boy panties and suck it up. They have the right to love anyone they want.
back to the qestion at hand I would not vote for this reason if i were to vote for him it would be for the right reasons. keep the personal life out of it. do you think that the gay people are really going to vote in his favor.

Gay marriage is as abnormal as marrying a 7 year old kid . The argument that they are born that way is wrong what if i say im born with the urge to have sex with a 7 year old kid does that give me the right to do it just because i say its my rights ? What if i say im born with the urge to kill people does that also give me the right to live a lifestyle of murder ?? Gay marriage is wrong in the eyes of God and the church wheather the church is Christian , Muslim, or Jewish as an AMERICAN i take offence at anyone trying to force my religion to accept homos or thier lifestyle and to allow them to marry . No one is trying to force your religion to accept it. It's a civil rights issue and should have nothing to do with religion. What happened to separation of church and state? If its against your religion, that's fine. But keep in mind that you live in a country that allows you to have the freedom to choose that religion. Gay people should have freedom, too. Their relationship has nothing to do with you and they're not hurting you personally by getting married, so let them be happy. And as for comparing homosexuality to the compulsion to molest children or murder someone....that's just flat-out crazy.

your wrong the homos are trying to get the government to force us to tolerate and accept this filthy degrading lifestyle . God never intended for two men to have sex its against all thats pure and moral . We know it and they know it but yet the trend is to force Americans to accept it and embrace it . Marriage for the most part is conducted in Churches and temples and to try and say its legal for gays to marry makes a mockery of holy unions of one man and one woman . Sure you will have taught your children your silly outdated views but they will fade none the less.

wow this has nothen to do with the bible or god. the fact is that there are many men or even women who are gay and lead a perfectly normal life married to the oppsite sex. the fact of the mater is they are not happy and usually end up miserable. I am not gay but have 4 family members who are and 5 of us who are not. I would rather have a gay family member to raise my children than be raised by the straight members. no one force their sexual preferances on you. do you kiss your wife or husband in public. do you hold there hands. pat them on the bottom or rub their shoulders in public. well maybe I DONT WAIT MY children to see such things in public. the bible says to love thy neighbor. not make love to them.... get with it.

Well i disagree most child molestors are gay and most molested children that were molested by gay people grow up gay . Thats the facts . I have family members who were molested by a gay boy scout leader who used his job to target young boys and brought them into his lifestyle . The gays want to force people into accepting them and there evil perverted ways . I dont fondle my wife in public nor show alot of affection in public i save it for home . i agree one hundred and ten percent! most gay people lust after children and want to rub their homosexuality in everyone's faces so that the children will become attracted to them. did black people go around acting all black and stuff when they wanted civil rights? NO! did black people stare at children and daydream about fondling them like gay people do?! We don't live in the 1800s anymore and today (whether you like it or not) women have a choice in this world. Why don't you get your head out of your ass and actually look around you? Women can do just as much as men do. There are many women that I know that have high paying corporate jobs and are the boss over 100s of men, so you're point about women being insignificant is bullshit!!

Secondly, shouldn't people be allowed to be happy while they are on this Earth? It seems like no one thinks so and that most people have become close minded. There are so many instances throughout history of "gay activity" that everyone wants to forget about, but the truth is that it's here to stay. I'm sorry to say but times are changing and people are going to be with whoever they choose to be with. You don't have to like it, but the least you could do is accept them for who they are. You act as if these people are dieseased or something when they are actually great people. Yes, there are some out there that do bad things, but there are also straight people out there that do terrible things as well. It's a fact of life! No one group is better than the other and people need to just accept it and move on. There are more important things that we all should be worrying about than whether or not a person has the right to be happy while here. All I'm trying to say is that we need to accept what we don't like and leave it at that. We can't change their minds and they can't change ours. The only one that should be judging us is God and the rest of us need to leave it at that and mind our own business.

i can see where you are coming from since my viewpoints are difficult to accept in today's world. i myself had difficulty accepting christ because of what the bible preaches. but whenever i looked at a problem in the world i saw that the fault lay in denying the truth of the holy bible and everything made sense that way.

i do not look at women as inferiors yet the bible demands, in at least six separate verses, that women submit to their husbands. it is our lord god and jesus christ who say this, not myself. i submit to the lord and follow his teachings. i do not like paddling children but it is the difficult duty bestowed upon us to guide our children to the lord. god commands us and we must obey. i can see why people would think my constant linkings to satan and the devil are ridiculous but this is simply what the bible says. some will say that i have no right to judge. that is correct: only god judges you upon your death. but god demands that every christian have the courage to stand up for what is holy and to draw the line between right and wrong. i am duty bound to that and to refuse that is to refuse the will of our lord jesus christ.
