It's my understanding that Christians go by the New Testament. "God" doesn't forbid homosexuality in the New Testament (and barely did in the old). There are just a couple vague references to homosexuality that could be interpreted as to not even talking about homosexuals at all. Therefore Christians should allow homosexual churches.

If people are told by priests and pastors and preachers of the like that homosexuality is fine and dandy and their church supports it and is open to them, and people believe them, you realize that those people aren't going to hell, correct?

Meaning, if it's true here, he'll consider it true there and they're let in.

The Bible, as much as you want to believe, is NOT fact, it is NOT infallible, it is NOT supposed to be the source of your everyday. It IS a set of stories and beliefs to teach you morale, honesty and the like and for the most part, it does a very good job at that. It's when hardcore religious people get ahold of it and start using it as an excuse to bad mouth certain groups of people and telling them they're going to hell because of THEIR religion, sexual orientation, color of the skin (as the Old Testament told us) and all kinds of other nonsense, that's when it becomes a, forgive me for sounding like a superhero, force for and of evil, ridicule and downright annoying. I mean, how would you like it if a bunch of Muslims started telling you how YOU were wrong because of your beliefs, going to your churches and picketing, going to your funerals and picketing, saying you're all going to hell and shouldn't even be allowed to live? Not all Muslim beliefs are the same as Christian beliefs (though a good portion are).

There was a user that used to come on these forums quite a bit a year or two ago by the name of Any Number and he was right on the money with what he said about religion. He says he got the basis for it from a movie.

God doesn't care if you're black, white, Asian, Indian, whatever. He doesn't care if you're Catholic, Christian, Mormon, Muslim, Islamic, Atheist, Agnostic or pray to the big tree out back. What matters is, if you're a good person. If you live your life as a good human being, trying to help people, you don't go around stealing or murdering, getting in fights with everyone or lying to everyone you meet about every detail. If there is a God, he knows you're a good person. He knows you tried your best at being said person. He doesn't NEED a list of 10 things to go by to tell that you are the best you could have possibly been. You're a hard working individual who tried living a good clean life and he isn't going to condemn you for missing church one Sunday and forgetting to ask for forgiveness.

Instead of reading a Bible over and over, try reading a text book. Maybe that'll clue you in to the real workings of the world...and some grammar and spelling.
