I disagree with his motive. It's nothing more than political pandering. Of all the times he could have said anything, it's now. I'm not ashamed of our country, but I am ashamed of the leaders we vote into office.

You should be ashamed of this country..I don't see how you cant be.. with all the corrupt "leaders" that are supose to know what they are doing, yet still, make so many stupid mistakes.. it's fine to make a mistake every now and again, it's gonna happen but when you consistantly do it and you know you're doing and just dont't give a shit because your a senator or a president that just bull shit... money rules every thing.. and if we ever do get someone in office that actually cares about the country... they'll prolly be assasinated... and that is just fuckin sad and pathetic.

By the way, it is not about god or bible it is about being sensible, and America's necessaries. Same sex marriage is already legal so forget about it, move forward to work on sensible things for America, and make it strong!
well said.

The sensible thing would be no gay marriage, no illegals
allowed and get the ones out that take away from the economy
By underbidding work that true Americans need! No president
can make what we have now work. So it doesn't really matter
who's in office anyway.

I would never do it, I don't want my kids to do it, But I am okay if others chose to be gay. They don't care what happens in my bedroom, so I don't care what happens in theirs, I won't be there judge, that's GODS job.

A preacher in town made a good remark toward the "hatred" that some have towards gay and that being gay is a sin, but so is lying, so is murder, so is gluttony, etc...So, when you think about it, why is the judgment so high for such a thing? We are all guilty of it no matter what. Would you see a child molester in the same light after that. But he is sinner, but given a black mark by us. Is it just as a means of safety, sure. I personally feel that there is something inherently wrong with someone that can do terrible things to a child, and that they cannot fix their problem and want and desire to do bad things to children. I guess the same applies to gays, but the key things is that, I don't think someone being gay alone will cause me any grief. We are not a theocracy, so our society cannot be based on any religious doctrine. I know I have made some terrible remarks towards gays and I still somewhat disagree with their lifestyle, but I feel as long as you don't interfere with my life and try to change my rights for your own benefit, all power to you.

I feel like If you will put your thing in another dudes pooper, then you would put it in anything, Including,, Animals , couch cushions, Holes in logs or trees, women or children. I don't feel like you would have much discretion. Maybe gays are responsible for Mermaids too..
