I agree. But get "married" by your minister but fail to meet the civil law for marriage in your state, and your "marriage" does not exist from a legal standpoint. So government is involved...so marriage is also a "civil" contract and unless government butts out of marriage entirely, then it cannot(should not) discriminant. Marriage equality is required by the Constitutions equal treatment guarantee.

Sorry, marriage predates christian mythology. Also understand that the majority of married people are not christian. Taking your post in to account I find it quite ironic that you called anyone dumb.

look at "christian" holidays that they stole from the pagans. Christmas, Halloween, and Easter we're pagan holidays til the church stole them and revamped them for their own faith
