Know lot of gay people where I live. About 20% gay out of approximately 1,000,000 people. When a loved one is in hospital or dies or whatever catastrophic event partners have no rights. The family who quite possibly disowned and no longer talks to person hospitalized or dead are in charge and shut out partner out of all decisions. Anyway you get the picture. They need legal positioning so that they have the same rights as other people. Quite a few older people think it's catching or you can "recruit" people over to homosexuality. Silly, aren't they?

20%? Do you lie all the time or just on Topix? Not one city in the US exceeds 15.4% of the population. And that's San Francisco. The tenth ranked city at 7.7% is Orlando. So your claim that Columbus is 20% gay is a flat out lie.

So here's my question to all the pro gay people, What is your reason behind why you feel it is ok for 2 gays or lesbians to get married? That is all I'm asking.

If that's true than straight individuals who are sterile and unable to conceive should be banned from marrying too, along with couples who decide not to have children. It's interesting you bring this up when we can't even feed our own population because to many people can make money in oppressing individuals

It's called liberty. ANY consenting adult should be allowed to do anything they please unless you can prove that it harms you or violates a superior right of yours. Unless you can prove such harm (using due process, the mechanism we have in place for trying to prove such things), your actions toward stopping them are merely those of a control freak.

Live and let live, and you'll probably live longer. Seek to control unjustly, and you will find yourself controlled.

Can't feed our population? Are you a complete fool? Have you seen the obesity rates among the poor?

So you just say any consenting adult. My next question is with using this as your definition do you also agree with Poligimy and incestual marriages?

What I "agree with" is irrelevant. If I don't agree with it, I won't do it. As long as they aren't harming anyone else, it's none of my business what consenting adults decide to do.

Why do you care if a man (or woman) has multiple wives? It has no bearing on your life whatsoever.

So your saying you are willing to back and vote for people who want to live with poligimy and are in agreement with incestual marriages also. Thats fine I just want you to mean what you say when you say that it's ok for consenting adults to do it. So many people that are for gay rights are against these other two marriages and are just contradicting what they say when they say that it's ok as long as its between 2 consenting adults and that they love each other.

I'm not saying any such thing. I'm saying rights should not be abridged unless there is demonstrable harm to another or a violation of their superior rights. I'm not saying I'd vote FOR anything. I'm just not voting against it.

I feel Civil Unions are enough, they offer the same benefits as marriage. Obama
changed his mind, as he was against gay
marriage, and now he's for it. Flip Flopping.

So many people seem to be an expert in what's "good enough" for someone else... I wonder if they'd like it if someone else decided for "them".

The original meaning of a marriage license was public support for child raising, not adult hedonism as LGBTQ prefer it to be.

LGBTQ advocacy of sodomy and abortion and pornography should be sufficient to disqualify them from a marriage license.

Before LGBTQ got involved, a marriage license required a blood test for communicable disease, to prevent passing disease to a birth child. LGBTQ legal meddling discontinued blood testing on the grounds of privacy, the same manuever they've used to get federal government to protect porn, abortion, and sodomy.

A LGBTQ marriage license is literally a license for licentiousness.

All of their pet projects will get guaranteed taxpayer support, because they will have a license to practise their art.

sodomy
abortion
pornography
child recruitment
STD proliferation
AIDS hysteria
NEA grants
hate speech prosecution

Portray them (or not) any way you like, but unless you can prove they are harming you or violating your superior rights, you should have no say in what they do or don't do.
