Shepherdsville can't even put in a damn sewer line and you monkeys are debating nuclear power? This whole city is like a pack of monkeys f * cking footballs already. Last thing you need is a nuclear one.
Luckily, the construction of any power plant would require considerable more oversight than the sewer line project.. Nuclear would require even more. Never something that would be taken on by the local government. Perhaps state, but more than likely a private company under the ultimate control of a federal agency.

If you're asking me why I would change sides on the subject based on Kimo's illustrious analysis I can only say this,"I'm obviously fighting a losing battle with this issue anyway, and, making love to a nuclear football sounds somewhat exciting.Never would've seen it that way if it weren't for Kimo bringing me up to speed on the matter. Thanks Kimo.

We don't need to take any chances of a nuclear power plant risking lives like in Japan.

If you retards did anything besides feeding your chickens and ducks, you would know that there is new clean technology available to generate electricity.

Google zero point energy. Or go to youtube and enter . Nikola Tesla ....

Of all the people to pick on my chickens and ducks,I didn't see it comin' from a guy named Scarecrow. And the Tesla Coil is considered a failed invention. Not because it doesn't work, but because Uncle Sam decided that there is no logical way to introduce it to the market.Or at least that's what I ascertained from the History channell,,,,,about fifteen years ago.But if you are feeling the urge to be the star of the show, then by all means, start your own thread. But,considering that this topic is at the top of the page on every city's forum in the country,I don't believe it makes us 'retards' to reply to it.However,I have learned a long time ago that only a fool can't learn from a moron,so I intend to research this zero point energy you spoke of since it is new to me.

I doubt they're qualified to build a nuclear power plant.

To say that he was put in check is more accurate. He wasn't really robbed until after his death. The same thing would happen to you if you created a power source that could be manufactured and shipped for pennies. Many people don't believe it,but world governments go to great extremes in order to keep such ideas hidden because it would screw the world's economy if they were to quickly introduce an easy and affordable power source.Anyone inventing a device that creates more energy than it consumes would be better off keeping it to themself.

Is Nuclear the end all solution to our power needs? No, but it's a good stop gap until the next big thing. The benefit outweighs the risk.

Israel returns nuclear waste to US
Press TV
http://www.presstv.com/detail/185644.html

Head of Israel's Nuclear Energy Commission Shaul Horev says Tel Aviv
has returned nuclear waste from its Sorek nuclear reactor to the United
States. Horev, who spoke at the International Atomic Energy Agency
(IAEA) ministerial conference on nuclear safety in Vienna on Monday, did
not specify the exact amount of waste, Israeli daily Ha'aretz reported.
... The operation took place after Israel's Nuclear Energy Commission and
the US Department of Energy signed an agreement for the return of the
nuclear waste over a year and a half ago.... The agreement with the US
does not apply to the Dimona nuclear reactor, where international sources
believe Israel produces fissile material from uranium and makes plutonium
for stockpile of nuclear weapons, and waste from Dimona is not being
returned to the US.

Air, we need it

Why on earth would we support this? It polluts the air we breath. One earthquake, one tidalwave, one misshap and the whole thing could blow.
Everyone that voted that we should build more of these, google up what happens to our land and air if it goes off. Dummies
