With the latest nuclear(portable type) power plants available which are very safe and do not use fuel rods as the nuclear plants of old did,and because they are very cost effective, I support nuclear power.

Fukushima. Chernobyl. Three Mile Island. When they blow, they're serious.
Plus at least three permanently radioactive rods per nuclear power plant to dispose of every year.

Do you not realize that there is a mobile nuclear power plant in Everett? Nuclear power is very safe.

Chernobyl was poor design and had a graphite core.

We do not have the technology to safely store the highly radioactive and dangerous waste produced from the plants we have already. Until this is solved, NO new plants should be constructed, which, effectively means no new plants should ever be constructed because no such technology exists nor will it... The 200 man made radionuclides are extremely harmful to humans, and indeed to all of life, and our food chain is already contaminated. STOP ADDING to the problem. No more nukes!
